Grandview Lake Placid

"It felt like we were in the Dirty Dancing movie! Everything about this resort was amazing. We had an excellent dinner at the restaurant one night. We sat by the fire pit 3 nights and ordered dessert (great cheesecake & lava cake). The proximity to downtown was phenomonal. I forgot that there was beach access, and although it was a little far (we drove), the beach & clubhouse were top notch on Mirror Lake and I cannot believe the paddle boards and kayaks were FREE! We spent more time here then I thought.. my kids couldn’t get enough! The reception staff were very helpful with recommendations. We used the onsite laundry (I wish there were more machines). The indoor pool was great! We stayed in a grand room with a Kitchen… it was huge! The 1.5 bathrooms was nice and the Murphy bed was very comfortable as the 2nd bed option. The resort exceeded my expectations!"

"The property was very nice and obviously recently remodeled. The only complaint I had was that one of the reasons we picked this location was the restaurant on the property and we had no idea that it was closed. It would have been nice to know as we then had to drive into town to eat which was a little hectic due to the Ironman Triathlon happening that weekend. The room itself was nice, clean and recently remodeled. Would stay there again"

"The kids and I really loved staying at the spruce. It was newly renovated and looked beautiful. The kids had a campfire in the back and everything was provided for it. Plenty of room outside for them to run and explore. Breakfast was good and just enough for us to start the day."

"This facility is dated but clean enough. Stayed for the Lax Tourney, so super convenient to the fields. Coffee maker didn't work well but minor issue. Certainly one of the best deals in the area."

"This is a very sweet lodge with wonderful owners - Shelly and her husband - and a delicious restaurant. You can bring food to grill yourself or eat at the restaurant on their lovely patio - we did both. The complementary breakfast on Saturday and Sundays is lovely as well. The lodge was originally built in the 60s and the rooms are a bit tight but they work!"
