"This hotel really is the standard of excellence. In every aspect from the servers to the chef to housekeeping to front desk to the spa outstanding!!!"
"I loved my stay; it was a lovely family-run hotel. I highly recommend it and would happily return! The family that runs the hotel greeted me with open arms, and it was one of the highlights of my stay in Nepal. 700-800 NPR taxi to Thamel, and 1000 NPR to the airport as reference."
"I stayed in a twin room with private bathroom. Room was clean and comfortable and even came with built in wardrobe. The hosts are wonderful and made breakfast in the morning. It's a peaceful place with a 3rd floor terrace that has a beautiful view of the city.
Felt very safe here and loved interacting with the host family."
"Tajaa Pha is a hidden jewel in the area of Patan, Kathamandu. The hotel is for those who value a homey feeling. Shailendra and Amrita, the owners, make sure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness and hospitality is sincere and it is evident in the amazing breakfast they serve every day. Rooms are comfortable, quiet, and the ones in the front have a wonderful view of the pond, with the mountains as the background. "
"This beautiful boutique hotel offers traditional Newari charm in the heart of Lalipur, just a short walk to Patan Darbar Square. The reception staff were friendly and super helpful and the room just full of character. Loved it.
Breakfast is served offsite with a limited selection but does the job. Characterful, welcoming and convenient. I would happily stay here again. "
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were very caring. The helped us in evey way possible. Because I was busy with some work during my visit, they offered to show my mother around Kathmandu. We had a great experience at the homestay and would love to visit them again."
"Wonderful stay at the hotel. It was perfect location in a quieter area but still close to main road where can get transport easily to move around. Many lovely restaurants and cafe in area and safe to walk around with less traffic also by hotel. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will come back again. "

"Good hotel with good amenities and service. Rooms with amazing views and good size. Service is amazing and the restaurants highly recommended. We even asked the chef to come to our table to co gratulate him. The breakfast and dinner buffets are AMAZING. Highly recommend this hotel"
"We had a good experience from checkin to departure. The staff were friendly and very helpful but didn't hover over us. Our spacious room, the restaurant and the facilities in general are well maintained, pleasantly decorated and clean. Hot water for a shower was plentiful. This hotel obviously has a history in the area and the owner/manager take pride in providing a quality experience for guests. There is another excellent restaurant right next door. All in all I rate the Clarion very highly and plan to return."
