"This was a last minute booking, while driving on a freeway towards Milan, literally an hour before check in. But what a nice surprise! Excellent hotel, spacious restaurant/ bar which was still open at this late hour, and the man at the reception was so nice, and gave us an extra room complimentary, realizing there were 5 of us, and we'd be crowded in 1 room. "We requested a 'quite room' but were located at the front of the property next to the main through road. The facilities were very basic. The evening meal which was included in the price was although basic, well cooked. We had to run the hot water in the shower for 15 minutes before the hot water would reach the shower head and once having done that we got only hot water through the mixer tap in the sink."
