"Just a lovely hotel to stay in staff was helpful and polite.breakfast cooked to order evening meal Lovely but large portions but realised after that they do half portions. Lovely view over the golf course and dornoch firth parking at the hotel rooms very comfortable and clean tea and coffee in the room"

"What a wonderful stay with The Guesthouse The staff was helpful, engaging, knowledgeable and friendly Rooms were well cared for, staff willing to provide extra towels, toiletries when needed and we had everything we needed and more for an 11 day stay Kim kept us laughing and was good at suggesting food, travel and sightseeing tips! We would 100% stay again if back in Tain A huge thanks to all who made our trip very memorable Dorothy and clan!"

"Lovely friendly people, comfortable room and great food. If you are staying in one of the attic rooms, just be aware that the shower may be hand held as there isn't room for a normal shower due to the slope of the roof. Great view of the castle though!"

"This hotel is phenomenal. I don’t say that lightly, I’ve stayed at many unique , great hotels, but Links House is truly above them all. The service, the comfort of the quality bedding and linens, the wonderful breakfast that is offered to all guests to mention a few were exceptional. The location is perfect if you’re interested in golfing Royal Dornoch or visiting a quaint village in the Highlands. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"They said the cooker was broken however we feel that they should have had someone to repair it asap. We understood there was no Tv or wifi but in this day and age anything is possible even if you have to raise the price. We were not told about electricity that it was a key meter it was only when an alarm was going off we traced it to electric box to find there was only 50p left on it we put key on and it added another £15 which went nowhere these are very expensive devices. The other thing that didn’t work was the cold water in the shower it was very dangerous if a young or old person was to use it and all that came out was boiling water. Not happy with our stay lovely setting but will it return."
