"We were visiting the Uni in Aberystwyth the following morning and with a 4 hour journey needed an affordable, easy to find stop off. The staff were so friendly. Room was perfect for our quick overnight stay. Very quiet area with great views. Lovely traditional bar to have a relaxing drink and snack in. "The chap on reception (might be the manager) was very friendly and helpful. Although there are narrow corridors, the hotel overall is not grim, and "feels" pleasant. It is certainly clean, which for an old building with the usual plaster cracks is some achievement. Getting a parking space is always a bit of a gamble that end of Aber.
