Good location, nice staff and usual room. Clean. No air conditioning! Be warned. They have "cooling fans" but it's not air con. If you need to keep the window open you will hear the church bells every 15 minutes, and the seagulls, oh and the folk outside and traffic and just pretty much everything!

The hotel was very clean lovely room .staff very helpful .But the food definitely let the hotel down would not recommend to eat in .sorry .

Lovely central hotel

This property has kept a high standard since the 80’s with staff just as friendly and helpful as always, the location is ideal for town. The only enduring reservation is sound travels between rooms and corridor readily so hope for quiet neighbours. Very good.

Lovely, helpful staff and a clean room with all the usual hotel provisions. The Hotel is convenient for the main street, cinemas, theatres, art galleries etc. Close to the docks which we had a view of as requested.

I was visiting Aberdeen for the first time as my son was moving there. We decided to stay in the Ibis hotel. Things were going well until the second night when at 3:29am a drunken fool came down the corridor and proceeded to bang on doors and took particular attention to ours. I assume he was in another room but had no key or was locked out. This went on for a while and I shouted to him that he had the wrong room. At 4:18am he came back and this time was more aggressive. At one point I had to put my feet against the door for fear he might break in. There were no telephones in the rooms so my son sent a message through WhatsApp as directed. There was no response. Eventually he stopped and I opened the door. He was standing outside another door and just looked at me. We left the hotel the next morning after little sleep.
