"A happy stay for both us and the dog. Clean and comfortable with all you need. Plenty of hot water and the heating was excellent when needed, the log burner completed the package. Just a little tight on space either side of the bed but not unusual in an older one level cottage. Secure garden for a dog unless it decides to explore the stream at the end of the garden. Ours didn't just enjoyed sitting in the sun with us. Nice to have a view too! "

"The room was clean and plenty of towels. WiFi wasn’t good in the room but very good in the bar. Breakfast was average, would have liked more selection in the “bakery section” maybe a bagel, crumpets, crusty bloomer. Fruit selection was lacking too. Swimming pool and facilities surrounding it were clean but dated but we had a good time"

"It was ok! We expected better considering the price and location. It was our wedding anniversary and first overnight stay with our baby. We had a superior rear room which was probably more of a standard realistically. We asked for travel cot for our almost 4 month old, however it had crumbs at the bottom of it and a stain on the sheet so decided to use our pram instead (model approved for safe overnight sleeping). Room overlooked a wall and wouldn’t say it was that accessible with a pram, small lift and very narrow corridors. There was also a ladybug underneath the duvet when pulled it back but think it was a one off. Breakfast was lovely with wide range of continental and hot food to order. Probably wouldn’t stay here again but did like the bar terrace looking out at the promenade."

"Location was great and the room was enormous. Very generous draws and furniture and they went for a mid-century look but it felt like it came from an op shop. The shower was over the bath and would be difficult for an older person. Little by way of shelving in the bathroom. Walls were marked and in some places the carpet worn. While there is a lift there are stairs up and down on each level to get to your room. The curtains were well short of blackout. Overall at 3 star hotel at a 4 star price. Would not go back."

"Great Hotel and well located in Eryri to give you access to; Yr Wyddda, Carneddau and Glydeeau mountains. The room was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The food was also good and the bar was reasonably priced for the area. It’s a 5 minute walk from Llanberis village centre and Llyn Padarn."
