"Everything was just perfect! The food was amazing, the staff was warm and welcoming, the place had a relaxing atmosphere which was perfect for us after a full day of driving. The only tiny thing that could be improved was the wines that were offered - could be an idea to keep some dry wines too (but this is just a small thing)"

"The accommodation and especially the tent was very nice.
Unfortunately, on arrival there was no vehicle available for us to do the game drives. We indicated by mail, weeks in advance, that we would like to do all game drives.
Afterwards we understood that Shadrack, the General Manager, had suggested to our driver from Nairobi to leave us at the camp without the possibility to do the game drives at all.
Our driver refused and did the game drives with us in his own 4x4, in which we arrived...

"They catered to the Chinese people. The lodge was ok. The rooms were ok. Not well maintained. Turned electric off most of the time. Location was fabulous. I have been to Kenya many times and this is the nicest location I've encountered. It is on the Mara river. Many hippos monkeys baboons and crocks. It is a one hour drive to Masai Mara but the conservative was nice for safari. The safari vehicles are not very well maintained and we broke down or had a flat tire every day. It is a good value as...

Elewana Elephant Pepper CampMaasai Mara
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1 review)
"I cannot say enough good things about Elephant Pepper Camp! I stayed for 4 nights with my wife on an 18 day honeymoon, and out of all the places we stayed, including 5-star hotels in Cairo, Nairobi, Dubai, and the Maldives, we had the best service and the best food of all at Elephant Pepper. We were picked up directly from the Mara North Airstrip and immediately began our safari adventure with a game drive. Each morning we were woken up, given coffee/tea/sweets around the fire, and went on...

"We really loved this location. It was our third time in Masai Mara so I can compare to Keekorok and Royal Maison. Royal Maison was nice, but this property is more level and the tents are closer to the reception and each other, yet still quite private. The electricity ran all night long, and there was cell service and data from the tents. The location is great as it is outside the gate of the reserve and very close to it. The food was amazing. So tasty and beautiful presentation. And the...

"Spent 3 nights there, in the end of December 2017. Mixed feelings.
The good: Excelent location, the best lodges in the world, excellent service, artisan furniture, you are in the middle of nature, you hear hippos 24/7, lions, monkeys stole cookies from my porch, I mean WOW.
But now this: They cheat you with the price. After you book, they tell you to pay 80 USD extra per person per night, which was not declared anywhere. Hotels.com promised to reimburse me, but never did, so shame on...
