"The Gut Stiluppe just finished its renovation, and while the new parts look stunning, the upgrade has yet to proliferate to all parts of the place activity. Specifically, it feels the kitchen needs to really improve - morning eggs arrived at odd shapes (like scrambled eggs that weren’t scrambled before fried), and coffee with regular milk after we explained of a lactose intolerance. I think it will take a bit more time until the service gets to the level of facilities."

"Stayed for a week in a single deluxe room with a balcony towards the main street(in the "new" building). A lot of noise through out the night from returning party people, so bring earplugs! The room was tidy and clean. The bed was not so comfortable, there was some sort of waterproof layer between the sheet, made you sweat like crazy. But all in all, it was a nice room. "The host was very kind and hospitable-- she took the time to explain us the region and the different activities available. The room was clean, cozy, and had amazing alpine views. The sauna was an added bonus after a difficult hike! The breakfast was very filling. Even the service at breakfast was amazing. The room was also close to nice restaurants, which was an added bonus. I would highly recommend this place if you are hiking in this region. I would definitely stay here again. "
