"I can’t express how lovely and helpful the staff were. Whilst incredibly busy, they took time to regularly check everything was ok and ensure we had a relaxed and comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was good, room comfortable and clean. Bed comfortable. Head supervisor was excellent. A lovely guy who really looked after us and made sure we felt welcomed. "Beware the family room! There are two kinds of family rooms in this hotel - nice new airy bigger ones and smaller darker ones. The pictures online show the two single beds in the new room - with lots of space behind the beds, even a chair. Our room was the small one and even though I pointed out that it didn’t match the picture which is why we booked it, there was nothing they did. They offered us an extra night but that wasn’t useful as we already had further travel plans. They then said that they would get back to me regarding a possible refund but I haven’t heard anything."
