"We loved Barefoot! Beachfront traditional Bure, plenty to do, and great food. Was a place to really relax, but still with enough to do for the kids. The extra snorkel and day trips do add up though. Will definitely be back. "

The resort has a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere that was perfect for a romantic getaway, but there were also plenty of activities and excursions to enjoy. "My stay here at Nabua Lodge was nothing short of spectacular. The staff are such lovely and warm people, and the food was incredible. The location is just breathtaking; right in the perfect spot for the Blue Lagoon and other hidden beaches within kayaking distance. I would stay here in a heartbeat."

"I really don’t want to say anything bad about this place because the people were truly fantastic but this was not my favorite stay. In terms of safety (especially being a solo female traveler) I felt very safe. If you’re looking for a secluded and gorgeous spot this is definitely it. The cabins are not great but the location really does make up for it. I did see the biggest spider of my life due to a hole in the bathroom that really threw me off in terms of this stay though. The boys of the owner thankfully came and got it out but as someone who is not the greatest with big bugs, I would recommend finding a more secure stay if that is an issue for you. There were ants everywhere and there wasn’t a fan until I asked for one which made it very difficult to sleep. The electricity is only on at night which is fine but it’s a lot when it’s super hot and there is no fan. The food was always good but you didn’t get any option on what you ate. You got what you got. You also sit with everyone else who is staying at the place at a big table so if you are looking to have your own space or be solo this isn’t the best place for it. Personally I liked it though because it opened conversation with new people. The location really is breathtaking. Everyone is so nice and they have the cutest dogs and one eyed cat! "
