"We stayed 3nights at the Parador de Ferrol to rest after a long flight from Australia before starting to walk the Camino Ingles. It was a good decision as Ferrol is an interesting town. "When I booked this hotel it showed air conditioner in the rooms, when I arrived there there was no air available. I ask the front desk and they said they did not have any that they had not updated the profile on Expedia. Besides this the bathtub was full of mold and towels stained. I decided to leave the next day and obviously this is one of those properties where you get no refunds. Smart move..."

"Although they say parking is available, having to walk 10 minutes from the parking to the hotel was not convenient. The bathroom floor tiles were all cracked, the wood flooring was lifting. Although the price was good I would not return to this hotel."

"When I arrive at the reception I said I had a reservation and wait from some reaction ... The guy simply print the reservation paper on the table and looked at us as we were some alliens ...! So I ask what he wants and he asked "the ID card of course" and added "in your country what you show in a checkpoint" ... Well, indescribable :( In the room with a reservation for 2 people, they only putted on bath towel!!! Nothing was cleaned... I took a bath with my shoes... And to finalize they were 2...

"The property and the surrounding area and grounds are really special; the accommodations, the staff and breakfast were all wonderful - exceeding our expectations! Well worth the short drive from A Coruña, where we stayed the night before. We wish we had stayed more than one night in Casa de Graña de Acea, and look forward to return."

"I had a pleasant stay at the Pazo. I stayed in one of the apartment villas which was quite spacious inside. The white chairs in the bedrooms were not the cleanest looking but other than that the rest of the apartment was clean. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and the area around the hotel is very tranquil. I paid for breakfast but think it was a bit too expensive for a simple continental style breakfast (the almond cake was very delicious but I would have liked some english...

"I stayed one night because I had a concert in the coliseum arena which was no more than 10 minutes away walking which made it a perfect location. Although nobody was physically there from the staff when I got there, the check in was very efficient through a remote call on a tablet in the lobby. The room was clean and it had all the essentials. If you’re looking for a cost effective place to stay and you don’t need that high end luxury experience, it’s a great place to stay to visit the city or go to a concert. There is a market walking distance and there is a bar downstairs for whatever you need."
