"Overall a good stay. Rooms are large and comfortable. Would have been lovely and quiet had it not been for the people returning at 12.30 at night. Lovely grounds and beautiful location. Breakfast was good but I prefer it to be freshly cooked, rather than a buffet. Disappointed that I couldn’t swim, as by the time you arrive it’s closed and no time before you have to leave. "

"Was very pleased to discover this hotel. Beautiful building, room was as good as the other hotel group we normally use. Small points to mention, towels are small, and we had no soap in the bathroom, toilet seat was dirty, had to wash it before I could use it. "Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of issues with my room, but they were sorted straight away. This is a very basic 'dry' hotel originally built for offshore rig workers so set your expectations accordingly. That said it's about a third of the price of the posh one next door which does have a bar. The airport check-in desks are about 600m away, ish, so a very easy walk. The bed was comfortable and roomy for one, but two might be 'cosy'. Also, surprisingly quiet....

Although it was clean and comfortable, it was very small and I wouldn't stay more than 1 night in that type of room for that reason. Too cramped to move hardly.
