We had Chulan who looked after us during our stay and was very attentive and helpful. This place is old charm but with modern day facilities. "The views from this hotel are beautiful. The location is very hard to find, in spite of signage, which had faded from the sun. Google Maps does not take you directly to the hotel, instead it has you driving anywhere but to the hotel. The hotel staff seemed frazzled and disorganized. The dinner was a buffet, while not delicious, it was sustenance. However, the cleaning staff and staff in the restaurant were very kind and accommodating."

"The hotel is perfectly placed to walk to the temple, lake and market. A 20 min walk of brief tuk tuk ride from the station. Reasonably comfortable bed with a private en-suite. The only issue was that one wall of the room is a floor to ceiling window that looks onto the hallway and lets in light from the hall until it is switched off around 11pm. So maybe ask which rooms might be best if you prefer the dark! Air con very good and warm shower. The food is delicious, both breakfast and dinner....

"The location is convenient and there are frequent buses to the nearby bus stop, so transportation is stress-free. The owner and staff speak English well and are very kind. They provided me with maps to show me many tourist spots and delicious restaurants, and assisted me in making my stay more fulfilling. When you go there for the first time, it is difficult to find the location from the outside due to the shutters, but it is located exactly as shown on the map and has a small nameplate....

There’s not many good eating options nearby, but we did find a good little restaurant across the road which did excellent dosas. It’s easy to get a tuk tuk to wherever you want to go. "
