"My husband and I went to see the wild flowers and were just looking for a place to crash at the end of the day. This lodge was such a nice surprise! Our room was beautiful, had a fridge and a coffee maker with tea and coffee provided, and a huge bathtub. "Very cool location and quite relaxing. Needs some improvement on the interior and exterior of the cottage though as a lot of things were worn. It was quite windy while we were there and the wind blew most of the smoke coming the fireplace back inside which made everything smell like smoke, including our clothes in our suitcases. It did improve the feeling of being in a remote location, but still, this is probably not what you want. Overall quite good and value for money."

"This is definitely a good place to stay, our room was on the beach side of the property and has really a quirky type of architecture, which gives it charm. Listening to the waves crash against the shore was soothing. Our bed came with three blankets which I thought was a little odd, but during the night it became a little chilly and I was happy to have the extra blankets. We happened to overnight while a large wedding was scheduled so breakfast was really busy and quite noisy with lots of little kids running around. The staff realized that we were not comfortable with the chaos and accommodated us and alleviating my anxiety. This is definitely a must stay destination while visiting this side of the country. "
