In terms of area, it is not in the center of town and does not have the most amount of restaurant options around but if its just a stop over, why not..."

"Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean rooms and breakfast was great. Location was great with the tram line stopping directly outside the hotel.
Drawback was the lack of airflow in rooms/ climate control. Unless you had the shutter and window wide open.. which opened onto the external walkway where others accessed their rooms too."

Le Nid de l'Ecureuil
Le Nid de l'EcureuilBrens
10/10 Excellent
We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse.
Breakfast outside in the shade of trees and the company of other guests and our hosts was delightful. Croissants, bread, homemade...
