"Nothing much to like other than the location. The place is badly maintained with hardly any staff. The front door is shut by 8.30 PM which was inconvenient. The reception is shockingly badly kept as are the exterior areas.Rooms maintenance is dismal. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"An 5 star and private boutique hotel. There are only 11 suite rooms therefore guests that stay here value the privacy and exclusivity of the property. Shouldn’t allow corporate function or event to be held in the small property. Event held during my stay had occupied the swimming pool, courtyard, restaurant and lobby. All these are within a few hundred feet from the rooms. "

"Beautiful hotel, with a lovely, basic clean room. Comfortable bed and roomy shower. Had a balcony overlooking a roof, but would have been nice to sit outside there if it wasn't continuously raining. Great included breakfast, with lots of choice and lovely serving staff. Did not use any of the other amenities, but the outdoor area would have been nice to use if the weather was more obliging."

"While I know I came before official check in time, no rooms were ready. There was no one at check in so I had to look for someone. They said I could wait in their sitting room for a few hours until a room was ready. I asked where their restaurant was so I could get breakfast as it was about 1030 am and they said they weren't opening the restaurant that day... Taking it as a sign of things to come, I just left and booked a room at Galle Face Hotel instead. "

"The staff is super helpful, they would go beyond and more to accommodate the guest. We’ve arrived very late and food was delivered without any hesitation. The room was clean and very spacious, lots of bathroom amenities and beautifully presented toiletries. We have had access to the bamboo garden, which is very nice to stay in the evening. Breakfast is served at high standard, the food selection is good. We have also had lunch and dinner at their restaurant. They are specialising in Japanese...
