"Lovely hotel in fantastic location. All staff were very friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. Our canal view room was worth the extra expense and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Bathroom was newly refurbished and very modern. Food was of good quality at breakfast and one dinner in the restaurant, if a little on the expensive side. Would definitely stay at the Ambassade Hotel again. I stayed here for 3 days and although I was initially a little disappointed that Zoku isn’t located in a busier neighborhood, the proximity to transportation, the quiet rooms, comfortable beds, friendly helpful staff, delicious food, and incredibly convenient rooftop work space more than made up for any initial hesitation. "That shower though! You have got to let guests know the showers don't drain well and to not go full water pressure. It will flood the bathroom fast. Also, not everyone knows how the handheld control works. Some instructions would be great!"

"Great hotel! Incredibly convenient , easy walk to all sorts of attractions and dining. Right across from Centraal Station as well, so transportation is super easy. The staff was great as was the restaurant. "

"The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was in a great location. I enjoyed the Nespresso coffee machine, refrigerator, water kettle and complimentary daily (small) bottle of water. The downsides were that it was really expensive for an outdated hotel room facing a brick wall and overlooking an alley. There were no outlets near the bed and only 1 outlet at the desk. There was nowhere to hang towels to dry so that we could reuse them as requested. "

"The rooms are so spacious and the bathroom is big too. The staff are all friendly. It was quiet so didn't get much outside noise. So many bars and restaurants around it. About a 10 minute walk and you are in the main square. About a 15 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. There are lots of tram stops near by if you don't want to be walking as much. "
