I was served a tainted breakfast and was still having diarrhea 6 days later when I finally got home. The day I got sick— breakfast was the only meal I ate that day, so it was easy to identify where things went wrong. There were several things that went wrong before the tainted meal and missing two paid events in the last 3 days of my vacation. I would want to be contacted by management to discuss. I will never stay at this hotel again when in York. Travelodge around the corner might be a better option.

Excellent value! Really like the hotel room size and cleanliness. Had to walk a little farther to town and train station but was well worth the effort.

The mattress in the room ruined our backs. They need to renew it as it was old and sunk in the middle. The WiFi is nonexistent. It was very, very slow. They have smart TVs in the room - but why? With internet that slow, streaming was not a possibility. The breakfast was waaaaaaayyyyy too much meat. And can you do a different egg beside poached. I would not recommend this place. The only positive is that it is close to everything
