Spent 5 nights with my partner, we enjoyed our stay and booked one of the junior suites which was comfortable. The building is old and as expected maintenance is required however the grounds are stunning. The staff are very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. We used the spa facilities which were good and treated ourselves to the treatments which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Beautiful Hotel and location
Was on a business trip to the area and spent a lovely evening in this beautiful hotel. Great history and location. Excellent service from very friendly staff. Pool wasn't available when I visited but given a credit to use in the bar which was welcome. Only slight criticism is that the bar menu was pretty limited in the evening

In our room we found a dirty sock covered in literally coats of filthy grey dust , my bed side table top had a sticky fruit drink ( the presumably) circle in it. Waiting to be served a drink or meal took literally forever and I had a large black hair on a buffet breakfast fried egg in case I was still hungry .. the breakfast plates were all gone so we asked for some and the lady brought them holding with a towel .. she needed to because they were literally dangerously hot .. I actually burnt my fingers and dropped the plate .. she then said oh yeas , they’re red hot , you need to hold them with a cloth …pretty awful all around to ge honest .. we’re VERY unhappy and will never stay again … we will advice others in our circle not to as well to save them from our experience…

Could be so much better.
A beautiful Manor house which could be so much better! The cold weather seemed to catch out the staff. most rooms were very cold, meals in the evening were served cold and aside from one or two areas next to log fires the social areas of the house were all freezing. After complaining, the staff did provide discounts/refunds but it is such a shame for what is a fantastic manor house, we will not be in a hurry to return.

We stayed in one of the Manor rooms which was superb, king size bed and modern bathroom all the facilities you need, kettle, coffee, iron etc - great views over the gardens and fountain, the gargens were lovely with shaped trees/hedges. The staff were attentive during our stay and nothing was too much trouble, highly recommended and the real test is would I go back again? Yes definitely - well done LeighAnn on reception and to the bar and restaurant staff.

Our favourite place was the bar lounge. We visited in autumn and loved sitting by the fire and having some drinks. We stayed in one of the suites, which had the gentle smell of fire, which was cosy without stinking out you hair and clothes. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Would love to stay again.

A wonderful building in need of decent management
Arrived on a dark night and had difficulty establishing location of reception - many buildings. Struggled in with luggage and directed to another outbuilding for our room. No offer of help with luggage and not even accompanying us to room.To add insult to injury told our room as in the right hand outbuilding and struggled up some stairs with luggage onlt to find no room. We discovered our room was in the left hand building. Rooms fine. Dinner good. Breakfast was bedlam and all self-service - more like a Travelodge. At least coffee wazs served.

Lovely 2 days. Wonderful treatment and lovely facilities. The service in the restaurant a bit slow and the evening meal was ok but not spectacular for £125 for 2 people. Did enjoy my stay though and the beds are super comfortable

Great stay, clean, attractive grounds
Great looking house, gardens would lovely (we had rain). Rooms and beds are v comfortable, Molton Brown products, decent furnishings. Our bar meals were good, breakfast buffet was great too. Staff were all polite and helpful, pool and spa good too. Great value, will go again

Beautiful place. Billesley is a place you can come and just enjoy the stay. Spacious room, fantastic staff, and glorious grounds. It is convenient to Stratford-upon-Avon, Birmingham (NEC, motorcycle museum), and Cotswolds.

Beautiful building from the outside (aside the much needed treatment works going on). Didn’t stand up to its call of standard in a deluxe room with dust and cobwebs on the walls, bathroom skirting boards and pile of dust behind bathroom mirror lights. Also no replenish of water the next day and first use of kettle had old water in it. There is a need for more attention to detail in each room to be worth the price.

Great great stay!
Truly a magnificent stay! The hotel is set in the most spectacular grounds and the building it’s self is stunning. We stayed in room 4 what I can only describe as luxury it’s self! All the staff were incredibly hospitable and kind. Food was delicious we enjoyed a meal in the dinning room and second night enjoyed room service! Both meals were exceptional. We are certainly looking forward to our return soon.

Beautiful country hotel
This was an amazing stay. Staff throughout were kind and attentive. The cocktails were delicious. The room was large ( although up a lot of stairs and through a lot of doors) and very nice, great bed lovely bedding and a beautiful bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was lovely lots of continental options and a full English breakfast. The pool and spa were great. Clean and very warm water. The location and grounds of this hotel are amazing. The only negative was the restaurant. It was slightly overpriced for the quality, portions were small and the options were very limited. Stay here enjoy the grounds, bars, pool and location, but eat dinner elsewhere.

Lovely building and grounds. Variety of food available was a let down compared with expectation of such a place (and with other comparable places visited). Likewise refreshments in the room. Staff pleasant and helpful. Car parking spaces far too small in length for anything other than a small car

Fantastic stay!
We wanted a couple of nights away to re-charge. Did lots of research of where to go and this hotel and stay did not disappoint. It was the best weekend stay we have had for a long time. Beautiful surroundings, garden, service, food, spa, bedroom. Just it all! Will definitely return and not bother wasting hours researching again!

Great time 4th visit
Fabulous stay again. This was our fourth stay and was great. The only positive thing for us to come out of Covid. We couldn’t travel so we booked here for 5 nights, we’ve never looked back. We treated ourselves to the four poster suite room 5 it was huge and lovely. It was clean. It had a fridge, coffee machine, water, large tv.

Not dog-friendly at all!!!
The hotel itself and our room? Both fabulous. My main problem was the so called dog-friendliness of the hotel. Firstly, it was only after making the booking that I learned we had to pay £25 for our dog. More importantly, the dog was hardly allowed anywhere. We couldn't eat in the restaurant - which is not uncommon - but the restaurant menu was not available in the bar where the dog was allowed. We were restricted to the bar menu (same as room service menu) in the bar but there were no dining tables there, only coffee tables. We were offered lap trays which I said was not acceptable so we had to eat at tables outside in the rain (albeit under umberellas). I don't call this dog-friendly - especially when paying £25 for the privilege!!! Also, the bar menu is very standard - burgers, Thai green curry etc - and even if we had been able to eat in the restaurant, I would have frowned at paying £36 for a sirloin steak - with side vegetables charged extra!!!!

I loved it here
I loved it here - from the moment I drove up and saw the house across the lawns I think I fell a little in love with this charming corner of Warwickshire. This is a genteel hotel, a place of old school charm, discretion and calm. Every angle revealed something of beauty from the old church, to the ancient Cedar tree, to the panelled rooms, to the Yew garden. I found my room very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom modern and elegant. The breakfast good and abundant. I ate in the restaurant one evening and perhaps this would be my only point of criticism - I found the dinner menu disappointing as there seemed to be few choices, however the food was good; beautifully presented and tasty but I would say the portions seemed small and the price ratio seemed a little high to me. The wine list I found poor, just the usual suspects you would find on a pub menu. For me Billesely is all about the spaces you are able to exist in. Sitting on the benches under the Weeping Willows, reading by the stone mullioned windows in the public rooms, so many mesmerising and embracing corners. This is a wonderful and memorable location. So beautiful in fact I didn’t actually leave for 2 days to venture anywhere else; the outside world suddenly seemed so ordinary, so irrelevant compared to the sense of well-being Billesely afforded me. I will definitely return.

Wonderful stay at Billesley Manor
Our stay at Billesley Manor for 2 nights at the end of July was lovely. The staff were great, so friendly and helpful and really seemed to go the extra mile to show an interest in their guests. The room was lovely, although being a listed building our room had no air con and was extremely warm, I couldn't use a hairdryer in the room as it was too hot, but it was a lovely room so you can look past that. The grounds are beautiful! We did not have time to try the spa.

Room was comfortable and all staff were friendly. Dinner and breakfast were lovely. Bar area is a little crowded however and used as a thoroughfare. Overall a nice relaxing place to stay.

very nice
A lovely Hotel, full of character, beautiful grounds, and attentive staff although on occasion the bar staff were overwhelmed but were pleasant throughout.
