Took more than 10 mins to check in. One staff member doing check-in, others walking around and sitting in a nearby office fully aware that people had been waiting for some time and were becoming restless. They still refused to help even when the lobby was pretty full. Finally a few tourist buses turned up, and another staff member helped with the backlog.

Everything was great other than a reception staff member not allowing us to our room before 3 pm (unless we wanted to pay an extra $60) even though being told earlier we could register sooner if the room was ready which it was. After a 25 hr flight schedule to arrive, we were exhausted. Other than that, it was great! Thanks.

Great location for access to trains and light rail. Overall value for money for a very short stay only. Overall it’s a bit tired, areas around checkin super busy and dirty (rubbish everywhere) and hallways have room service trays and rubbish outside them for more than a day. The bathroom in our room was really grimey - brown stained tiles and black mouldy grout. Our room needed maintenance, which was dealt with well and the problem fixed. Housekeeping forgot to service our room but did replace towels swiftly when asked. Staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be.

Property was pretty tired and not as clean as we would’ve expected. The bedding didn’t appear clean, hopefully it was stained and washed as opposed to grubby from the previous occupants. There was a couple of litres of milk in the hallway when we arrived, obviously abandoned by someone, and it sat there day after day going rotten until we told the front desk about it. The location was great though, and we also liked the pizza bar on the first?/second? floor. We asked for adjoining rooms with our teenagers, or at least rooms on the same floor. We were on the 7th floor and they were on the 4th. Apparently the last two rooms in the hotel. Why bother asking us a week out if we wanted adjoining rooms if they weren’t going to make any effort to deliver on it.

The location was great near public transport of all sorts, but walking nearby at night wasn’t as safe, and the food options in the area were limited to mostly Asian or McDonald’s. Reception staff were efficient. The room was clean and furniture comfortable but pricewise not competitive compared to other hotels near the area where I had stayed on in the last few weeks.

Location is central Sydney the Best.
Newly renovated nice and new. Central location for transport anywhere in Sydney. The breakfast buffet was good and very busy. Thoroughly enjoyed the little pool and gym.
