This is an outstanding property. It is convenient to just about everything a visitor to Sydney could want. The staff are very responsive and friendly. The view from the room is magnificnet. The breakfast provisions are very generous. i just love everything about the Hyde Park Inn.

very close to everything… place is small but our room was big for the 3 of us… daily snacks replenished in ample amount, we have a mini kitchen our room with kitchen appliances for daily use… we enjoyed our stay in this hotel…

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyde Park Inn. The rooms are a little older, but very large for space. The kitchenettes were nice. We found a great italian restuarant nearby. Also a convience store right down the street. The park across the street was beautiful.

Ordinary, plain lobby but surprisingly large rooms. Two comfortable armchairs. Good sized table and chairs. Kitchenette. Lovely view of the park. Nice to be able to open the sliding door to small balcony for fresh air . GOOD bathroom .

The back two bedroom room was perfect for the four of us. I was worried about it not having a window. It was no problem. The staff were amazing. It was a pleasant stay.

Good value property. Access from the airport via rail to Museum Station is the best transport option l have experienced in terms of getting to a CBD hotel.

Opposite Hyde Park and Museum station, the hotel was in an excellent & convenient location to get around. They kindly upgraded us to a larger room for our family. The room was clean, tidy and had a small kitchenette which was handy. A continental breakfast was also supplied. A good value stay! Would recommend!

Price was reasonable but a couple of issues. 1. The key fob in elevator wasn't working so anyone could come up to the floor without a proper fob. 2. Hot water not working in the shower. Also temporary underground parking is an accident waiting to happen. Extremely tight space on the turn from the ramp to the parking lot. Don't recommend using. Use the parking lot a couple of blocks away which the hotel covers you for. Facilities are a bit dated but beds were decent.

The location of this property is fantastic, close to the subway, bus stops right in front, walking distance to stores, restaurants and even Circular Quay, Opera House and Harbor Bridge (20 minutes). Room is like a small apartment, small kitchen and balcony.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is very close to Hyde Park. It is also 5-minute walk to the Museum Station. Chinatown is not far from the hotel, only 10-minute walk. The staff are very friendly and informative. The room is clean and quiet. There is a stove, microwave, bar fridge, toaster. There is a cereal, milk, bread for light breakfast. I needed to ask the receptionist because it was not for 3 people.

The car park spaces are small and narrow with limited numbers onsite, the hotel telling us on arrival carparking would be two blocks away. There was no mention of this in the online advertisement. Additionally, our room (and the entire floor) suffered from wind tunnel noise - with the advice to place a ‘snake’ at the base of the door to stop it. A good night sleep was definitely not assured. Additionally, the rooms were somewhat ‘tired’. We decided not to check in and attempted to cancel our two-day booking upon arrival, with the first day being problematic for Wotif due to its cancellation policy. I pointed out that the hotel was not as advertised online. While it is centrally located, and the price was competitive for its description with parking included, needing to park offsite should have been clearly mentioned as we did not want to walk two blocks to the car. Additionally, with the wind noise, the hotel did not deserve a 4-star rating. Had it been rated 3 or 3.5 stars, we would have been alerted prior to booking that it was probably not in the category we expected and saved everyone the trouble and not booked. We are still not sure if we will be the first day fully refunded. The staff themselves are friendly - Wotif needs to ensure that ratings match the hotels.

Great central location near Hyde Park and Museum Station. Hotel was convenient to Australian Museum, Hyde Park Barracks and World Square Shop. Reception staff were very helpful and I was able to check in early. Room was spacious and clean.
