Lovely little hotel close to Gatwick Airport. Very convenient for overnight stay between flights or early morning one. Excellent hotel shuttle, waited less than 5 minutes after calling them from the bus stop #10 at the south terminal. Friendly driver and staffs. Would not hesitate at all recommending The Corner House Hotel and I will definitely come back !

Less than 5 minutes from Gatwick airport, room was comfy for my needs. Everything was as described and expected. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

24 hours shuttle bus service. Last time I did not have any luggage. It is 20 minutes walk from the south terminal. Staff is very attentive. Room was very clean.

A great place to stay if you have an early flight from Gatwick and you're looking for fair prices. It's even a roughly 30 minute walk to the airport.

More than just a corner

This is not the Ritz, but for a night or two or more stopover (I had to deliver a hire car back to Gatwick) very clean room, super helpful and friendly staff, and a delicious cooked breakfast! Just what anyone could want or need!!

Quaint family owned business

Lovely hotel and lovely staff. A little worn around the edges but great location and very friendly, welcoming and accommodating team. Would definitely return.

Great location for Gatwick departures, good facilities in the room. Room was very clean and well furnished. Although i did not use the dining/ breakfast i di d see this and it looked great.

Lovely friendly staff it could do with giving it's guests an itemised bills as we spent £100 on 2 burgers 2 desserts a bottle of wine some toast and a pot of tea seems a lot of money for that

Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff and a wonderful English breakfast. Only negative is that there are stairs and no lift which is difficult with a heavy suitcase.

A one night stay on return from holiday. No problem arriving at 11pm. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast. My only concern was that the transaction on my credit card was done out of my sight but the correct amount was charged

Friendly, clean and comfortable

The building looked a bit lole Faulty Towers but that's where any similarity stopped!. My room was smallish but extremely well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Sky sports was showing in the bar, a nice surprise. Sorry, im a typical bloke. The bar food was freshly prepared, and good value as was the restaurant menu. I didnt realise i had to pay for parking but that was my only moan and a minor one. The service was excellent.

Very quaint and friendly atmosphere, comfortable beds, quiet, and a great breakfast! Had our room had a bit better water pressure….we would have rated excellent.

This is a nice place on a fairly noisy corner. They have sealed windows so you can sleep. Staff are kind and helpful. The small restaurant and bar onsite are very convenient.

Fantastic service - quaint and clean guest house very near Gatwick. We were only there for 14 hours in total (including sleeping!) but it was a great experience. Really nice that they had food and drink service right there as we were on a quick layover.

Missed my flight which was the last out of LGW and needed a place to stay last minute. For the price and convenience this place was unbeatable. Also after the rudeness of the airport employees, the friendly faces of the staff at this hotel was a breath of fresh air. They were super sweet and accommodating!

Night before flight

Lovely, clean and comfortable room. Bed was great except for two tiny, horrible uncomfortable pillows - one each for my husband and myself. Just not enough on such a very lovely bed. Seemed cheap. Bathroom was great with both bath and shower which pleased both of us. Breakfast was mediocre with lousy coffee and slow service. Not good value for the extra charge. Both the bar and restaurant were completely empty and uninviting for our evening stay there. Otherwise staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Comfortable one-night stay

I only stayed one night here - checked in late (just after midnight) and used their shuttle/transfer to Gatwick the next morning. The reception desk was technically closed after midnight, but there was someone on-site that was able to check me in after a few minutes. We arranged for my transfer to Gatwick in the morning, and then he showed me to my room that was in a small building across the street. The room was very small but had all the basics I needed - small twin bed, a nice comforter, two electrical outlets, a large towel, a couple of smaller towels, and sink for brushing my teeth and washing my hands. The room I booked was one with a shared bathroom, which was downstairs from my room. I'm guessing they weren't booked very full, because I was able to use the bathroom that night and in the morning without needing to wait. But I imagine there might be more of wait time when they're more full. It was comfortable and everything was in working order. It seems like they take good care of the rooms and everything inside and in the bathrooms. Checkout was easy and I was able to take the transfer shuttle to Gatwick easily as well. Definitely worth the 10 GBP to not have to figure out public transportation in an area I'm not familiar with. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Nice way to end our trip

Felt spoiled staying here after 6 weeks of different hotels on our bike journey. Very clean, good-sized room, WIFI worked, TV worked with lots of channels. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Found us a spot to store our bikes. Washed our clothes and got us to the airport on time with their shuttle. Breakfasts and dinner were also very nice.

Nice little hotel. Though, dont let them place you on the main floor close to reception as it it extremely loud throughout the night and the front desk clerk is very loud and boisterous with no seeming consideration for the adjacent main floor hotel rooms and guests. The kitchen is also very loud with plates and cutlery clanking starting at 5:30 am.
