The pillows were like a deflated breast. The bathroom ceiling was covered in black mold, the shower head was spewing gunk. Our room reeked like a stale pack of pall malls. Zero stars, do not recommend.

Very old Needs a revamp It felt dirty couch reminds me of my ex mother In laws and she's 94 - I didn't want to touch anything. No fan in bathroom No place reachable to hang towel to reach from Shower. Sorry not a fan of the this hotel

There was an odor in the room of mildew. Rm 114. Add to that the exhaust fan didn’t work and there was no hot water in the shower. The handle just free spun. When I told the front desk, they just said that they’ll look into it. No sorry, no real care.

This was a disappointing stay. The room was unclean upon arrival. Nobody came in to make beds, or clean the room at all. We never even received shampoo for our 3 night stay that we paid over $600 for. Overall not at all what we expected. The shower head had mold on it. Poop on the walls in the bathroom. Just disgusting. We will never stay at a Ramada again.

Horrible!!!! The room had a terrible smell of old wet carpet. Had to leave the window open all the time. Could not sleep from the noise coming from the a/c unit.

We stayed in Rm 310 for one night. Checked in at 5pm. Friendly staff. Non-smoking room was very clean and smelled fresh. Heater and fan no issues. All appliances worked well. Nice hot shower and fresh clean towels. Older hotel that works just fine. Would stay again.

Everything smelled like mildew...everything was dirty. The pool was so warm, it was great. While in the pool, you look up into a room upstairs and the ceiling was covered in black mold! Definitely never stayng here again!

Weekend get away. Bathroom was HUGE, and could have had a couple of hooks for towels. Could also use a bench or something to put clothes/towels on Couple of bathroom lights needed covers. Patio screen door needed repair Sheets were out on the wrong way, might want to “top” of the sheet at the top & not on the side Room was over all clean & quiet

Lady at check in was very rude, she seem preoccupied and irritated I had booked thru a third party ( Expedia). It said there was a continental breakfast but there was not, she offered a 2 for 1 at a local place which was expensive. There are many other nicer properties for the same money- I wasn’t stay here again

You advertise it as free breakfast and there isn’t no breakfast. Nothing is updated in this hotel and smells old and dingy. Our room smelt so bad from mildew that we hung a car freshener in our room and left the window and sliding door open to try to hide the smell.

This hotel is now my go-to Mackinaw City hotel of all the ones I’ve stayed in over the years. I liked that it was a smaller hotel yet had everything I needed and wanted except for an expected included breakfast (which I didn’t find out was indefinitely unavailable until after I arrived). Since the cheapest breakfast I could find in Mackinaw City was $15 for a basic breakfast sandwich and a regular coffee, I took a star off what would otherwise have been an overall 5-star review. The person at the counter was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful (she gets 5 stars!); the rooms were comfortable and clean; parking and an elevator was close to the nearest entrance door to my room, and I’ve already written down my floor and room number in hopes I can get it when I’m next in Mackinaw City. I will definitel return to the Ramada Mackinaw City Waterfront when I next return, but I hope they get their breakfast bar up and running again by then.

it was nice that it was right next to the ferry, made our trip so much easier. Our room was with the jacuzzi, there was a bit of a mildew smell but that is to be expected when there is carpet all around the jacuzzi.

The positive thing about this property, it was right next to the ferry for Mackinac Island, the negative was, the hallways had a dust build up along side of carpets, windows were dirty with what looked like mold and grim and cobwebs. The hot tub room was advertised as lake view, our view was of the parking lot. Our room smelled musty and the carpet was dirty. The wallpaper was peeling off. Also Expedia advertised free breakfast, this hotel does not offer free breakfast.

Poor experience for a Ramada hotel
Was it the TV didn’t work, the rugs in the hallway, smells moldy, there was nothing indicating what the Wi-Fi password was and after 8:30 PM I called the front desk and nobody answered to tell us what it was. Nobody answered at the front desk the rest of the night either. And there was wallpaper that was peeling off in the bathroom.

We stayed for a couple days. No free breakfast as advertised. The room was ok, spacious, partially updated. 2 doubles, one mattress was newer another was old hard mattress. Balcony was with the parking lot view. The pool area was nice, water was nice warm temperature. Wouldn’t stay again.

After My husband and I return from Mackinaw Island are room wasn’t clean and no clean sheets, cleaner inform my husband we do not change sheets or clean the room if you booked extended stay, I was piss, my advice do not booked your stay at Ramada by Wyndham Mackinaw City.
