If you want to pay only $90/night like I did then you have to accept the condition of the hotel. Rooms are small, washrooms are very small and don't have a sink. 3 washrooms are shared by many rooms (they have private washrooms for higher prices). The shower is also very small. For the breakfast expect only a coffee and a donut. The bed is old, shaking and noising. For the WIFI you have to go to the lobbies because the signal doesn't reach upstairs.
If you're looking only for a place to sleep to during your stay or looking to discover San Francisco with lower budgets, then you may find this place ok for you. Check the hotel prices!!!
The location is central few steps from the BART station, the Muni light train and few blocks from the Powell St. line of the cable car. There are LOTS of homeless in the area but they seem friendly.

My room was huge. It had a couch, coffee table, table and two chairs, desk and nice desk chair as well as the bed, end tables and tv armoire. The bathroom was roomy and clean. It was in the back, and was very quiet. Overall it was an excellent stay at an unbelievable price.

Indulgence, Opulence and Decadence. The luxury is incredulous, the atmosphere is nothing but breathtaking, and the room; one word: Palatial. When I wasn't sipping on a glorious glass of the finest wine, I was admiring the amazing view of city life around me. Never once did I think that I was in a hotel, I thought I had to be in some hidden castle in the shires of ancient Europe with only the softest linens and jewels surrounding me. The staff was impeccable and the lush life around me would make me stay there forever. Thank you Rodeway inn, if it wasn't for your wonderful valet service I wouldn't have felt as secure as I did. Never, ever will I forget the beautiful and welcoming city folk that I encountered adjacent to the location. Once again, thank you for the most marvelous experience any person on earth or heavens or space could have asked for.

This was the 3rd time we have choosen this hotel during our annual trip to AT&T Park. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The neighborhood has some great spots to dine and we found most attractions to be in walking distance, so that we could enjoy the city on foot. The entire staff was friendly and we felt welcome here. We will stay here again. THX

The room looked great. It had a comfortable bed. Television had a lot of channels. Bathroom had a shower and a sauna. The room came with a fridge. The only thing that needs improvement is the valet service. They'll park you're car at anytime but you have to pick it up at 7am the following day without checking it out in between that time.

Had a nice time spending a 3 day weekend in San Francisco. It was our first time there and found this hotel to be at a convenient location and good price. Ricky at the front desk was very helpful and made good recommendations. Clean hotel room with free parking, hbo, mini fridge, and microwave which we found to be nice perks.
