"It was beautiful ., we hadn’t been there since the bar was enclosed - the decor is beautiful open clean inviting ! And the staff was very pleasing and kind — front desk very kind and welcoming … had a night cap and the bartender young lady was so sweet and friendly .. oh a Maria at the cafe was just as sweet pleasant friendly … thank you , we’ll be back for sure "

"The Godfrey is off Sunset so less touristy than Hollywood Bl which I love. The rooms are quite small and were really tough to navigate. There isn’t really anywhere for your luggage. And forget about unpacking. For the same price I could have stayed somewhere with a bit larger room. I didn’t love that. You can tell the hotel was made for efficiency.
