“'Rubber Ducks' a must”

I really loved this hotel, the staff were more than helpful, they were funny, informative and go the extra mile to make your stay extremely comfortable. Its ideally placed to catch all the public transport and cable cars, and Macy's is just around the corner for all you shoppers out there, and the gate into Chinatown is right outside the front door. The wine receptions every evening are a must for catching up with other guests and getting the lowdown on what to see. If you are going in SF for a city break consider the Triton as it is an ideal base for your stay.

“Triton was fab”

The Tirton hotel was excellant, we had a very comfortable 3 night stay. The hotel is nice and modern. There were Aveda products in the bathroom which were replaced every day. There was free tea and coffee in the morning and a wine tasting every night. When we returned to the hotel in the evening there were always free cookies at the reception and apples and oranges. All the staff were very polite and helpful. The only thing I would suggest is to ask for a room at the back of the hotel. We were at the front on the main road and it was a bit noisy during the night with lorries etc, but I wouldnt let that put you off.

“Simply Excellent”

This hotel was excellent. Our stay was teriffic from start to finish. The staff were amazingly helpful, rooms were of a high standard and the location of the hotel was perfect for what we wanted. The wine receptions were a great way to begin the evenings and meet other travellers. The coffee and tea in the morning was very welcome and always got the day off to a good start. I'd definitely recommend to others looking for a modern hotel in the city center and will likely stay here again when I next visit San Francisco.

“What a great hotel”

This quirky boutique hotel right in the centre of San Francisco provides a fantastic base for a visit to the city. The staff are extremely friendly - they even organised an easter egg hunt when we were there. The lobby area is the focal point of activity during the day. The rooms whilst not huge are clean and well equiped and the staff willprvide anything you have forgotten. But the best thing about the hotel is the location, right across the street from Chinatown and 2 blocks from Union Square. Would highly recommend this hotel

“Funky home from home in San Francisco”

Coming to the end of two weeks travelling around California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho having a week at the Hotel Triton was simply a joy. This hip hotel, at the corner of China Town Gate and two blocks from Union Square, is a perfect place for a San Francisco break. The warm welcome and personal service from the staff (how did Evan, the concierge, remember my name after only hearing it once) make the hotel a home from home. Its location is fantastic with easy access to shops, restaurants, theatres, Cable Cars and the rest of San Francisco life. The evening 'Wine Hour' which takes place in the Hotel's 'Lounge' is another feature of the homeliness of the hotel. It provides a chance to catch-up with friends, fellow guests and gives the opportunity to get to know the staff better. Looking back at my trip to San Francisco, what do I remember best? Yes it is the Triton and the way it let me feel like a part of, not just a visitor, to this great City.

“Terrific Triton”

Arrived very late after a long delay on Amtrak from Chicago, but hotel reception greeted us warmly. Being very tired we had a slight altercation with the window blind (brain had shut down!) but this was quicly remedied by a cheerful member of housekeeping. Large and spotlessly clean room, "quirky" decor, quality toiletries. Although on a main thoroughfare, the hotel was very quiet. Convenient location. Managed to hit the wine reception on two evenings and the cookies on one afternoon! This hotel has a very laidback feel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

“Quirky gem in San francisco”

Fabulous boutique hotel. Really good location too. The staff treated us as individuals and made a huge fuss of us as we were on honeymoon. The complimentary wine hour is a nice touch and a good way to meet other guests and share stories. We will definitely stay here again-a charming and unique hotel!

“Excellent location, a perfect little gem!”

I stayed here with my two friends whilst on a week's vacation to San Francisco. This hotel is the quirkyist hotel you will ever stay at! It was very clean, and although the bathroom was unbelievably small, the bed was to die for comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and there was a happy hour every day where you received free wine. Free tea and coffee was also available in the mornings. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, was very safe at night and was accessible to everything. An excellent stay.
