We booked two rooms 2 months in advanced and somehow got the room behind the elevator where all night u hear the elevator go up and down buzzing ..We had issues with bath tub water not going down when showering .The ac didnt work .We called and asked for remote for tv for some reason wasn't in room and didn't receive it for almost 3 hours. The only light we had for the center of room didn't work because outlet was pulled out of the wall. We had booked connecting rooms and didnt even receive rooms next door to each other. Overall wasn't worth the amount of money we paid for two rooms considered (bayside view) i feel like we got the worst rooms available even though we booked rooms way in advance.

Terrible servicio, no hicieron la limpieza del cuarto, dijeron que mandarían a alguien de mantenimiento a hacerlo y 3 horas después regresamos al cuarto y aún no lo habían echo. Las instalaciones terrible y viejas. El estacionamiento súper caro y la alberca estaba helada

We found parking right in front of the entrance...for FREE on a Sunday night. Woo Hoo ! And we walked across the street to the Brigantine for our last dinner in San Diego with our family before departing. Looking forward to returning.

Property had a great location to all the amenities of downtown San Diego. Biggest drawback is the lack of parking anywhere and the fact that the hotel charges you $47 a night to park a vehicle as a resident. Its another one of those little hidden Fee bonanzas that every industry seems to be piling on these days.

The room was clean, but it was great. I just wish there was affordable water instead of having to pay $7 a bottle. The vending machine on our floor was out of water. It just seems like a simple thing that should be provided to the guests. Lack amenities and a mediocre room wasn’t worth what we paid in my opinion.

Had a good experience one staff member was a bit rude but other then him at the front desk it was a very good place to stay. Would definitely stay here again.

This property was very tired. We had a room that was directly at the front of the hotel and the traffic noise and noise from the local restaurants kept us up most of the night- the windows must be made of the thinnest glass known to mankind. The furnishings were old and sparse. The carpets were not very clean. The tub was so slippery. Both my husband and myself almost fell taking a shower and it was no bathmat. There was no ability to print out boarding passes. The only good thing was the desk staff and shuttle drivers, and Bellman were very nice. Nonetheless, I would never stay there again, and I would never recommend it to anyone.

This is a very nice, well maintained property in an excellent location. Super close to the port if you’re going on a cruise (I personally was not), close to other spots of interest, and within walking distance of public transportation options. My room was quite good, though it had some flaws, mainly the lack of lighting. No overhead light in the main room (just by the doorway) and having just 3 lamps isn’t enough, especially on cloudy days. The BIGGEST issue I had and the reason I would rate this 3.5 stars instead of 5 is the water situation. There was no way for me to get water without either drinking from the bathroom sink (eww, pass), or buying bottles of water from the gift shop. The vending machines in my floor was broken so I had to go the gift shop route, spending $4 for a bottle of soda and nearly $8 for a single bottle of water. I don’t know if this was a hotel thing or a San Diego thing, but it was shocking how much water was. I had to by at least 5 bottles since I was there for several day and doing a bit of walking. Having a spot to refill water bottles like they do in airports and museums would have been nice, could have saved me some cash, and, most importantly, reduced the amount of plastic waste I ended up accumulating. I was there in April and can’t imagine how much worse this would be in the summer. This seems like an easy fix to instal filtered water fountains, not sure why it’s not being taken. I would return, but definitely plan ahead.

This was the second time we stayed at this property! We loved it. It was great to have a Bayside balcony so we could watch the ships come and go. It is close to everything that we were excited to see close to the light rail. It was nice that there was a shuttle to get us to and from the airport, and check out where a breeze. And the staff was wonderful.

Upon entering, the front desk only had 2 persons working. The line was long and the wait was long as well. The sign in was quick. We were given cards without instructions. Figured things out with help from other hotel guests. The room was facing the bay but was obstructed by another tower. The room was okay, but no microwave. The parking was very expensive. Check out was okay.

Thin walls, guests next door playing loud music on the balcony into the night, wake up to find out balcony chairs had been taken without permission and moved to their balcony, very low pressure shower head, $7 designer water in the room- no complimentary water, $42 parking PER DAY, and finally the thermostat didn’t work properly. What’s not to like?

Very good location for most people to go around! Little Italy was close by, seaport village is 10mins walk! But no convenience stores or market near by!
