"High class hotel in Delhi, close to shopping malls"
Extremely courteous and helpful staff of all levels. Although there was some disruption for security reasons due to Chinese President's visit the staff was very keen to look after other guests equally. We had a reason to complain about some difficultly caused; we were however compensated with an upgraded room change which was well appreciated. Very good hotel restaurants and tea/coffee lounges. Good gym and spa facilities attended by by very courteous staff. The staff at every level right from the door man to the duty manger tried their best to attend to your needs and make your staff very comfortable; in fact they made you feel royal!
Great location, friendly staff.
However, I stayed on the 2nd floor, and there was no hot water. In the middle of winter, that is brutal.
I told the front desk about it, and they said they would fix it…some "pump issue."
In the end, I had to turn the shower on and let it run for 10mins before luke warm water arrived!

After traveling through Nepal/India for 3 weeks, a much needed luxurious stay was need to dust off my tired feet. The staff was friendly and willing to accommodate any request and you will always receive the 5 star treatment. Leela Palace is the golden standard to how all hotels should conduct with their clients.
I am a world traveler who has made numerous trips to India over the years. Madonna is a smallish, Indian-style, neighborhood-based hotel. If you want an international standards hotel, on secluded, manicured grounds, you should go elsewhere. But if you want affordable, decent accommodation, in the heart of a thriving, centrally located neighborhood, with every transportation option just outside the door, stay here. You will experience the best of real India. The staff and the owner, Mr. Naresh Bhatia, are very helpful in answering your questions and making whatever arrangements that you need. If you accept that this is an Indian hotel, the staff and Bhatia will graciously respond to your rather silly (from the Indian perspective) questions. Finally, it is also worth noting that I felt comfortable at Madonna as a woman traveling alone. I was treated appropriately and I did not perceive that the staff felt that my presence was particularly odd.
You would be hard pressed to find a hotel like this in any major city. The hotel is very well appointed, rooms have everything you need, A/C, TV, right down to a pair of slippers. But what sets this place apart is the quality and standard of there staff. The front desk staff are exceptional, they did everything from arrange taxis (expected) to arranging a mobile phone top up and leant me a one day travel card.
Good location just out side of the centre, easy by taxiand near to 2 Metro stations
Top marks, stay there if you are in Delhi.
My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. They made me welcomed. The room and facilities were 5 star , the restaurant food was very good.
All staff were excellent. The chef came out and made sure food was good.
I recommend this hotel.
