Wrong IBIS hotel to stay at.
1st room, no twin beds. 2nd, no AC. 3rd, no safe, refrigerator, closet, elevator failures forced walk up 3 stories, continental breakfast only and very little room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, near subways and buses. Excellent location for Paris first timers; a lot of bars and restaurants near by. The only thing that I didn't like was the size of the room, it was very small but then again who's going to spend that much time in the room when you're in Paris.

This hotel needs a lot of work. It’s very rundown and in need of a clean. Had we been staying any longer than one night in Paris I would have left and booked a new hotel. I had a bad feeling about it from the moment we walked into the lobby. It was small and dated. There was a room off to the right for refreshments that had a very dusty bookshelf and looked unkempt. Our room was in the same condition. It was very dated and seemed like the cleaning company just sprayed Fabreze all over everything. (So much that we were coughing from the smell and could see the half dried droplets of spray on all of the surfaces and the floor) Other parts of the room were dusty and the carpets in the hallway and room needed to be replaced or throughly deep cleaned due to stains. There were some other upkeep issues as well but I think you get the point. We were exhausted from traveling and my husband was sick and just needed to nap, so we had no interest in dealing with the drama of finding a new hotel for only one night. The bed looked clean. I very carefully inspected the sheets and they seemed new. So we decided to stay. That didn’t stop us from using T-shirts as pillow cases though. Also the area this hotel is in was littered with sex shops and lots of homeless. Staying at this hotel was a mistake but also my choice of location. I’d suggest staying a few blocks North in Montmartre.

Good place to stay
This place was in a good location for nightlife, and in a very short walk to the metro to get out to the rest of the city. Walking distance from the Moulin Rouge and Sacre Couer! And the *working* in-room AC was a great change from other hotels on our trip!

Good place to stay near Pigalle
Overall, this hotel is very good. The bed is really comfortable and the room is clean. And there is a nice breakfast. The only disadvantage is the lack of wardrobe in the room.

One day we noticed that the towels were changed, but we got 5 small towels and no single big one. I asked at the reception and... it seems there was only single large towel available in the whole hotel. The situation was exactly the same on the another day, though no big towels were available at all. Looks really weird.

Perfect weekend location for a concert at La Cigal
Perfect location for a show at LA Cigale. Simple hotel in a slightly gritty part of Montmartre with great bars and restaurants plus the Metro in the immediate locale

Had a nice stay here, room was small but it was only for sleeping in, clean and modern in an old building. Breakfast was limited in choice but plentiful and good quality. Great price for central Paris, would go back.

The area was not the best, but once you started walking and looking around you felt OK. They had many restrurant that had very good rating from Trip Advisor. Location to Sacared Heart Church was very good. Listed in French. Beautiful and famous church in a very nice area walking district from Hotel, and many steps up about 300 but worth it. Many restrurant and French artist. Great view to the city from the church area. Booking the hotel through Hotel. Com was very fairly priced . Yes the room was small but clean when we got back from our day we just fell asleep. oh wifi was included anyway the staff was very willing to help with information etc.

If you are after a simple hotel to crash whilst you explore the city, this place is perfect. The staff are really friendly, the brekfast buffet was a nice selection of freshly baked pastries and other options. If I was going back to Paris I would certainly look to stay there again

A quick stop in Paris
The staff were really friendly and always willing to help out if you needed it. The room was small but it was clean and tidy. A nice place to stay close to buses. Right in the middle of the red light district.

Good base for Paris with everything you need
This hotel had everything you could want in Paris; comfortable bed, clean room, good reception and a bite to eat in the morning. Small rooms but that is in keeping with other Paris hotels, no fridge in my room and the shower was in the room so if sharing you can see each other. None of this matters though when you are only using it to sleep and get ready in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast completely adequate with lovely bread, pastries and ham. Tea and coffee also available in reception 24h. The fire alarm was set off one night a few times by drunken people in street. Although this was annoying, the staff dealt with it well and there was nothing else they could have done. I always like to stay in Montmatre and this hotel is perfectly located, I would definitely choose again as the rate was really good for Paris.

We really wanted to stay close to Montmartre, and this hotel certainly ticked that box. We were a two minute walk from the nearest metro station and only a five minute walk to Montmartre. The staff were helpful and the rooms were immaculately clean, if small. Breakfast was delightful, with pastries, fruit, crêpes and hot drinks. A very worthwhile hotel!

Hotel is situated in the red light district but actually this didn't bother us as it seems like a relatively safe area & is very handy for the metro station Pigalle. We stayed with our 4 month old son in a double room. However, when we arrived, they didn't have our booking. The receptionist spent ages trying to find it. Luckily they did have a room available but they didn't have a travel cot available, even though they said one would be provided. The room as too small for a travel cot as it turned out and our baby had to sleep in our bed with us. The manager did sat she would get a travel cot into the room the following day but nightingales materialised. I would recommend that if you want to stay with a baby here that you book a family room which would be bigger. Although we had this problem, our stay was quite pleasant. The room was reasonably clean, tea & coffee is provided in the reception area, the staff were friendly. Breakfast was very nice. The hotel room was surprisingly quiet at night (when the window is closed) despite outside noise. I would consider staying here again.
