"Good value for the area"
Small solidly built property just a few minutes' walk from a quiet part of the beach, with a nice small pool which all rooms overlook.

"The beach is nice and quiet."
I stayed at this location for 2 nights. The best thing about the resort, in my opinion, is the beach. It is a huge white sand beach on a very quiet side of the island. If you want to hang out with and meet locals, this is not the side of the island you want to be on. It is also too far to walk to get to the many dive shops that are located at Danao beach. They do offer their own dive excursions, apparently. There is a table set up to arrange scuba diving outings, but no one ever showed up. Eventually, I took a ride to Danao beach were there are many dive shops and dove 5 times in two days. The resort does a little price gouging when it comes to beer, pop, or money exchange. In fact, the money exchange is terrible. They offered 38 pesos per dollar. In Tagbilaran the same day, the rate was 43 pesos per dollar. Exact same beer, pop, and snacks are about half price if you leave the resort and walk to the top of the hill and buy from the locals. Other than that, the AC was cold, the water in the shower was hot. The bed was too firm for my taste. The light in the bathroom must have been about 15 watts only. It felt like being in a cave. The TV was snowy on every channel except for the NBA channel. I didn't go there to watch television so this was not a big deal. There is still no power on the island, but the hotel does have a generator that supplies power to the rooms after dark. I felt like the price was worth the cost of the room.

"Cool getaway!"
Love the rustic feel of the hotel lobby on arrival. Nice & windy & spacious too. 2 main highlights of hotel besides big rooms & good service is Children play area at basement with free games, basketball arcade, video arcade, table soccer, toddler area, snooker on top & the other would be the wonderful infinity pool which overlooks the beach which is just next to it! And if u get up early enough, walk along beach & catch hermit crabs, play with starfishes, Round worm hunting, but watch out for sea urchins! Also venture out to chocolate hills, Tarsier, River Cruise with seafood lunch, snake zoo etc... one word to describe-Awesome!!!

"Off the beaten path but has great potential"
This is a very unique resort and would be ideal for a couple looking to get away from it all. Due to the typhoon there was no power during our stay which meant no AC but they ran a generator to give us essential power for most of the time which was very nice of the resort. They went out of their way to be helpful which was great. The view and the amenities are wonderful so it is definitely a destination resort. We were there to visit other people in town however and to see some of the sights of Bohol so it required us hiring a car and driver to get around, which was still very reasonable. The only downside is that it is a pretty fair drive to go anywhere else besides just the little diving town a mile or so from the resort. They have scooters that come with the room which is great but we were going too far and there were three of us so we never took advantage of that. All in all, a great little resort with very friendly people to help you. Food onsite was good and reasonably priced.
