If you’re booking for the shuttle service don’t bother. They only drop off once and pick up at 5pm. There was a gentleman working the front desk that made it very clear he didn’t want to be there…very rude and angry. The breakfast didn’t have any hot items, the shower had mold, and the sheets had holes in it. The only plus is that it’s close to the parks.

Couldn’t even stay at this property. When you walked in the room there was visible black mold on the door in the bathroom. There were dirty towels on the sink area.

Overall it was an ok hotel for the price and closeness to the parks. It was my fault I read that they had a theme park shuttle and didn't call and ask what parks it went to, just universal FYI. Doesn't go to Disney. The breakfast was good in the morning. The maids are crazy loud. Every morning you'd get woken up by them screaming down the hallway at each other. And the one morning we put the dint disturb sign in the card slot they tried to open the door anyway and woke us up. So I wasn't very happy about that. The bathroom door needs to be replaced, wood was splintering and peeling all over it. Pillows were super lumpy. Other then that the bed was comfy and the room was clean. I don't think I'd stay again, I can pay a little more and not have to pay for Disney parking.

They tried charging my card without my authorization prior to my stay, even though I opted to pay when I arrived. So they canceled my reservation. And then put a 100$ hold on my card and I wasn’t aware of that before my stay. The tv didn’t work, and the front desk person was rude.

Room was spacious. Bed and pillows are comfortable. AC cold. Room and bathroom were clean. Staff at check in very friendly (Eduardo was great!). My only comment is that the hotel seems to be a bit dated, and you can see they're trying to make it look nicer, so points for that. I would recommend it and would stay there again.

Breakfast: is only until 9:30am which ends pretty early The shuttle for universal leaves at 7:45am (the park doesn’t open till 9…) and it leaves the park at 5:30 (the park closes at 7) Our shower was also really weird…there was no tub or raised tile - the bathroom floor and the shower floor were one and the same. Also - they gave us four tiny square throw pillows as opposed to any full size pillows Overall, wouldn’t return

I liked this hotel for the location. It is very close to universal. I liked that it offered shuttle service and basic breakfast like waffles, cereal, yogurt, bagels, orange juice ect. All the staff are professional and nice. What I did not like was that the rooms are old and needs remodeling, bathroom door was damaged, ripped carpet, and the doors of all the rooms don’t have a stoppers so all you hear early in the mornings are loud slams from all the early park goers leaving. All the pictures from the website looked beautiful but once you see in person they don’t look as beautiful. I should have booked in best western.
