Independent, Apartments in Mauritius Island

Nice beach, friendly staff, good facilities, everything new, good buffet and Food, unfortunately not a lot of vines to choose from, but that's normal in Mauritius; I highly recommend this Hotel to anyone which wants to have Relaxing Holidays.

Excellent hotel, great rooms, friendly staff, vgood kids club (my 6-yo kid hates them normally). Great golf, good food but not great other than the italian restaurant. Great service everywhere except deer hunter (even if there were 3 tables). Not cheap. Beach disappointing, lots of rocks, broken shells and coral. Nice clear water. Staff very helpful and eager to please.

From first arriving the whole holiday was exceptional, all features were at a high standard, in fact this has set a very difficult benchmark for our future holidays.

Nice hotel with good staff, facilities and conveniently located

A very warm welcome and authentic Mauritian experience. If you are looking for a stopover near the airport or a couple of days in a family owned and run Hotel, Le Bamboo represents excellent value for money. Pravin and Reshma and their family made every effort to make us feel at home and the home-cooked food was delicious. The breakfast overlooking the river was a definite bonus. They can provide airport transfers and even showed around the island for a day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Whatever you read here or elsewhere take note of the good points rather than the petty quibles. This hotel is not 5 star but was absolutely perfect for our needs and very cheap compared with the many luxury all-inclusive and very expensive hotels in Mauritius. The staff were wonderful as was the excellent breakfast overlooking the beach. The room was basic but did the job. Safe, fridge, cooker and crockery all adequate for our needs. My wife and I went there to attend a relatives wedding and not to spend much time in the hotel room. We travelled around the island using the local buses (which are excellent, frequent and very cheap) and hired a cheap car for a few days from the little place across the road. There are plenty of very good and reasonably priced restuarants nearby and we came away feeling that all the money we spent there went to the local community rather than some wealthy multinational hotel syndicate.

Where to start...perfect location with private beach with all kinds of water sports included in the package, excellent renovated rooms with big and beautiful bathroom and balcony, last but not the least fantastic staff which made our holiday unforgettable.

Nice stay, enjoyed the food and weather. Staff always ready to help.

I took the room there for one night by transit. It was enough to have a good sleeping before the next flight.
