We stayed at The Lucan Spa two different days during our trip as we were driving through Ireland and it was not too far from the airport. I can’t say enough about the staff - we arrived early and we were able to leave our luggage there with no problem. I injured myself and they were genuinely concerned and extremely helpful. The breakfast was excellent and served in a very nice area. We had to be at the airport early on our last day in Ireland - which I mentioned in passing to the front desk - and a Continental breakfast was waiting for us at 6 am. The Lucan Spa is truly a hotel that goes out of its way to take care of it’s customers.

Internet was good. Breakfast is the basic and not worth paying extra. We tried the lunch and it was good. The manager was not friendly and watching her interact with staff I was able to see why the staff never smiled due to the way she was talking to them. A 4 night stay and ate breakfast once. The pub food was better and eaten there once. The staff were very friendly in the pub. Our Housekeeper was excellent and very helpful. Room was clean but outdated. The location was convenient to highways and nearby towns.

We booked this for the ability to have 4 beds. The place is nice but it's a bit past it's prime and showing it's age. The biggest challenge for us was the road noise from the highway right outside the window. The pub and food onsite were great.
