My stay at Epic SANA was wonderful, despite being only 24 hours. It's one of my favorite hotels, conveniently located just 15 minutes from the airport. Taking a cab from the airport proves to be easier and more cost-efficient than pre-booking. The fare was approximately 10 euros. The hotel exudes a calming and relaxing atmosphere, with fantastic amenities and practical yet impressive decor. It's certainly a highly recommended hotel, with spacious surroundings. While we didn't dine at the Italian restaurant, we enjoyed drinks at the bar, where the DJ provided fantastic entertainment. The lobby bar offered reasonably priced drinks and delicious cocktails. Beatriz at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and kind. She demonstrated excellent knowledge of her customers and went out of her way to accommodate us, granting a late check-out for which we were grateful. Her communication skills and dedication to her role were evident – thank you, Beatriz! The hotel's proximity to the city center makes it easily accessible, with a 30-40 minute walk offering delightful scenery and quaint streets to explore. Breakfast, included in our stay, was excellent, featuring a vast selection of fresh bakery items, food, and fruits. It provided a great start to the day. We didn't have time for a treatment, the spa was a relaxing and clean space, and we were grateful to be able to use the facilities for free. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Several weeks before arrival I had send a message to the hotel with request for 2 separate beds. Upon arrival, the staff informed me that 2 separate beds are arranged in my room. When I got to the room. No separate beds. Just one bed. They had to send housekeeping to separate the beds. Refrigerator did not work in the room, they had to send a tech to REPLACE the whole refrigerator. No apologies, no regrets … zero of anything from staff. Ordered fish for room service. It was extremely over-salted..not eatable at all. I am not saying a little oversalted, it was like you had a spoon full of salt in your mouth. Over-salting happens in restaurants, but not like this. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE serving of fish. Can not state it hard enough. Sorry. Someone in the kitchen should taste the food they serve in a 5 star hotel.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff.
Our stay at Epic Sana Marques for 3 days was memorable. Its location which is in the center of the city was very convenient for us. It was a pleasant experience to walk down through Avenida da Liberdade to Largos Portos do Sol and the Museum of Contemporary Arts. The staff was attentive and very helpful during our stay. The room was exceptionally clean. Ah, the basil spaghetti at Allora, a restaurant located in the hotel, was surprisingly palatable.

Great location, even better service.
The hotel was quiet during my stay in the lull before the Christmas period. Breakfast was excellent with a huge variety of food available from the buffet or counter. Delicious vegan and vegetarian options were also available. The location is superb and the Metro is close by; unfortunately due to the weather I didn't get to try the rooftop pool but the spa centre was a good consolation. In my room there were many amenities such as automatic curtains and a Nespresso machine. The furnishings were plush and comfortable, in a modern style. Saving the best until last, the service was an exemplary mix of attention and patience. I won't stay anywhere else when I return.

Decent 4 star experience
Not a 5 start hotel, but people who work there probably feel otherwise. It is a decent 4 star hotel though. Not much to complain other than that it is impossible to reach the reception desk from your room. We stayed several days, but we could not reach anyone from reception from our room once - always a busy signal. We had to walk down each time we needed something. A bit frustrating but not a deal breaker.

Fabulous stay
Amazing hotel. We were surprised with an upgrade and a bottle of wine. The spa has a great sauna and stream room which we took advantage of. The hotel is located off the main boulevard and plenty of shops. I would highly recommend Epic Santa Marques

Totally Recommend this hotel. Not only was it in a perfect location to everything. It was lively with the music in the bar. Very Talented. Breakfast that was complimentary was a 10! Loved it. Did not get a chance to enjoy the spa but it looked amazing.
