“A great place to chill!”

The hotel offers a great change of pace from the busy Strip. The communal and outdoor areas are beautiful. The room was spotless and housekeeping was very efficient. The hotel is part of The District area, a pleasant place to walk, shop and eat in the evening.

“A haven from the madness”

We found the Green Valley Ranch to be just what we needed. We spent 12 days in Vegas and intended on chilling out as well as enjoying all the fun of the state...in fact we ended up spending much more time in the hotel than anticipated. It was comfortable and welcoming and the staff were uber helpful constantly. Our room was great with one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in - we were tempted to order one for home!!! The outside pool area was the best iv seen in a long time, the atmosphere was lovely and it was so relaxing to be there. I would definatley recommend this hotel for anyone, its gorgeous and I would rate it at the high end of 4 star. The shuttle to and from the strip and airport was frequent, quick and a huge money saver. Only a couple of things to be aware of: the resort fee - it was around $20.00 each day so ensure you take this into consideration when booking!!! They dont really tell you about the complimentary bits and pieces including the shuttle so make sure you ask for all the relevant information when you arrive - otherwise the concierge and front desk are always on hand and willing to help. The buffet restaurant doubles in price over the weekend. We had the most amazing time here and would definately go back if ever in vegas again. It may not be for you if youre in it to party constantly but if you want to relax as well as have some fun then this is the place for you. Great value for money.

“Luxury Oasis - High Quality”

Fantastic hotel enjoyed by all the family including children 11 / 13. Excellent pool, really luxurious surroundings. No loungers, they actually had proper beds around the infinity pool - double and single!!! It works, we promise. Casino separated from the main hotel unlike Strip venues( and better). First class hotel service, free shuttle to the Strip and return...............So will we!!!!

“Tranquility in Vegas?”

Spent 10 days here from 28/09 and despite the peak rush during Labour Day weekend, found the resort very quiet and completely lacking the normal Vegas 'rush'.Hotel greet on arrival very welcoming, also given an upgrade to Deluxe Pool View on 5th floor which overlooked west to L.V Strip and mountains beyond. Overall the facilities were 5star and the out of town setting at the edge of Henderson is perfect for the 'getaway from it all' type of break we wanted... with the option of free shuttles into the strip if you are sightseeing or looking for added verve. Excellent choice of restaurants within the resort and all reasonably priced plus a foodcourt with externally and 5 minutes walk away - the beautiful shopping 'District' small town with 8 further bars and restaurants to choose from(Elephant and Cheesecake Factory in particular!!. We rated the 'Whiskey' and 'Pond' poolside and Spa having amongst the best facilities and ambience from all those we have stayed at ( and are seasoned travellers worldwide with 'Leading Hotels of the World' our usual level of accommodation ). If you are simply looking for a Vegas Casino holiday then head for the Strip, but if you are a little more discerning in your tastes, like a peaceful ambience within a smaller, low-key resort then this is the one!!

“Is this the world's best hotel?”

I had a few days at the Green Valley Ranch at the end of our family holiday, I wish we had stayed there longer as it was fantastic!! From the moment you pull up outside the reception area to the time you leave you are treated to the most friendly, efficient, service from EVERY staff member anywhere in the hotel. They really can't do enough for you. The hotel is beautiful and is of course spotlessly clean. Great facilities with it's own outdoor shopping area and cinema, great spa/pool areas. Huge arcade for the kids to play in and many superb eating places from a burger joint up to a 5 star restraunt. It's hard to put in to words how good this hotel is, I defy anyone to go there and not have a brilliant time!!!!

“Very impressed with this hotel”

This hotel/resort is luxurious and overall, good value - we would definitely stay again. After experiencing all the action on The Strip, it was great to get back to the more relaxing atmosphere at Green Valley Ranch and enjoy the comfort, feeling of space and courteous service. There is lots to do at the resort, from the pools to the casino and the cinema complex. The spa is beautiful, although treatments were pricey. There are loads of places to eat within the resort and also some excellent restaurants to suit all budgets. It seemed that a lot of local residents and companies use the Green Valley Ranch for leisure and events. It does not seem to be aimed particularly at tourists and there were not other British visitors when we stayed - which was a benefit. You need to be prepared to pay a daily resort fee but this is stated at the outset. You also need to be aware that it is around 15 minutes drive from the strip - but there is a free shuttle around five times a day. Otherwise, taxis are readily available - although these were quite expensive. All in all, this was a find and would suit those looking to return from Las Vegas feeling pampered rather than frazzled.

“beautiful resort”

the hotel is basically better than anything you will find on the strip in terms of quality and service. its not small but neither is it sprawling which means that it feels much more intimate and the staff come across as much more attentive. the spa and pool are are simply stunning. and since it's geared towards locals the prices of the buffet, drinks etc are much cheaper than you would find on the strip. i seemed to have much more luck on the slots compared to other hotels. i have heard that locals' casinos have a much higher success percentage on things like slots and video poker as they want and need the constant custom. the only downside is the location. though it is conveniently located near to the airport, there really isn't anything going on the area around the resort. the strip is quite far away. and the resort fee i preposterous although many strip hotels are also doing the same now. maybe times are hard.

“Excellent Hotel & Location.”

Our stay at GVR was our 1st visit to Las Vegas. Was not quite sure if we chose correctly not to stay on 'The Strip', but on entering the resort, soon realized that we had made the right choice. If you want luxury & peaceful spacious green surroundings, with plenty of everything you need around you, this is the perfect place. It was great to visit the strip (15 minute ride) on the free hotel shuttle bus from the hotel & return back to GVR & chill out in the vast garden & various pool areas the hotel has to offer. The hotel Casino is of a good size & seems to be very popular with the locals. We noticed it is very popular with Americans & did not meet anyone from the UK there, which we thought made a nice change, giving you the true feeling of being in America !! The Concierge are of great help & are quite willing to assist you with planning your trips etc. (If planning to visit the Grand Canyon, visit the 'South Rim' by the coach trip stopping off at Route 66, Hoover Dam etc, we found it a great full day out} There is a shopping mall 'The District' next to the hotel which is pleasant to walk around and the view from the hotel was magnificent. Please note : It is best to request a room NOT overlooking the hotel car park area!!! My wife & myself went to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, we could not have chosen a better place in Las Vegas to stay.

“Great off Strip resort”

Great off strip resort, brill spa set up with something there for everyone. Top class restaurants and also cheaper options to suit any family budget. Hotel has it's own cinema and shopping district which is really handy as well. Hard to fault anything about this great hotel.

“Not impressed”

We were meant to stay 6 nights but checked out after 3 - the staff were rude and unhelpful.
