Dear Robert,It seems that you enjoyed your stay although you had some difficulties with the local price lever . We appreciate your feedback and we would like to give you our point of view. First of all, air conditioners are not standard in Switzerland, neither in our homes nor in the mid-range hotels mainly for environmental reasons. The weather was not hot during your stay and A/C is no need even we know that you are used to it. Switzerland might be an expensive country but it offers security, cleanliness, an excellent public transportation system and much more. There are a lot of reasons why life is more expensive than in other countries. And it effects also the hotel rates. Travelling means to enjoy other countries, other culture and habits. We are aware that there are differences between your and our country. Our 3 star hotel offers a very good standard and we say thank you for accepting other habits (glass door, our manner of towels and pillows, etc.) It meets our standard and we offer a second pillow if guests are requesting.
