"This property is very nice. The rooms are clean and quiet. Our room had a balcony and the street was noisy, but once you closed the balcony doors you heard nothing, it was very peaceful. The hotel has a restaurant on the seventh floor and the food is amazing. Sit on the patio (if you can) as the view is pretty awesome. Free breakfast was great!"

"The hotel is very convenient for the historic centre of Palermo also an easy walk to Centrale rail station (we went on to Rome by train after our stay). Room was well maintained and very clean. Breakfast was enjoyable but slightly disorganised (had run out of knives at one point on both mornings and plates on one) but the setting, a room clearly part of the old palace with a high arched ceiling, also good coffee individually made, more than made up. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful...

"Perfect location for our city break. Our room was at the back of the building, not a great view but at least it was quiet. A/c was a god-send as was the mini fridge. Room was serviced everyday. While the shower cubicle was small, there was loads of hot water and very powerful. Luigi was very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay, not a word of English but it really didn't matter, we managed to communicate everything necessary. "Lovely old rooms, bit run down,close to Palermo Centrale station, very friendly staff.Breakfast brought to the room, generous quantities of food including hot toasted cheese sandwiches!"

"It's cheap but not at all nasty. Not luxury either, but a good place to stay if you want to be near the station and the airport bus. It's also an easy twenty-minute walk from the main sights and the bus to Monreale. The owner is personable although speaks only Italian. Ask for a room away from the main road if you are a light sleeper."
