Staying in Surya Kunj was so pleasant and relaxing. Mr Singh was very accommodating and was very helpful. He even drove us to the bus station at 6 am. He was very fun to talk with and provided us with plenty of gossips on India. The room was superb, spacious and clean. There is even a terrace upstairs. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I stayed with chotoram and his family at their home stay for three nights and we enjoyed every moment. During our stay chotoram and his family couldn't have been more welcoming, it is definitely a place to stay if you would like a real insight into a traditional indian family and their home life. Whilst there we enjoyed having every meal cooked for us (which were delicious!) a village trek at sunset and visit to the local temple, a city sight seeing tour and village safari of salawas and the surrounding area. We were also given the opportunity to make chapati with chotorams lovely wife, dressed in full length sari which you also have a chance to dress up in. In our 2 months travel in India it has been our favourite place and experience, can't recommend it enough.

Overall a satisfying experience given the price. All the room comforts required for a business or a tourist traveller. Value for money.
Many might say that the only drawback is that they serve only Veg food but for me this posed no problem. The hotel staff can organize non-vegetarian food from across the road, if you do not wish to step out of the room. Or you may cross the road and eat food at the ROYAL TARKA restaurant for some good non-veg food (bang opposite). A ATM machine is just next to the hotel.
Staff was attentive and helpful. A pleasant experience is short.

After the madness of Delhi, this place is heaven. Experience the real India, without the tourists. The fort has basic, rustic charm. Think 4 star hotel, but better than 6. You wont understand till you see it. The best way to see Jodhpur, is a day visit from here. It was warm but not too hot in November. It must be hell on wheels in summer.
I arrived in Jodhpur at 9pm after 7 hrs travelling in a bus without AC, tired and feeling dirty, so what a good surprise I had when I saw the Kothi Heritage! It really cheered me up! I was charmed by the beautiful architecture and the decoration of the house, and I was very well welcomed by the owner of the hotel.
The staff was extremely friendly, the only problem being that the waiters are not all proficient in English, so sometimes they were staring at me because they obviously did not understand what I was saying...!
Overall I had an excellent time at the hotel and I can only warmly recommend it!
