Great and helpful team!
Just wanted to say big "thank you" to the team manager in this hotel. Great team with excellent and genuine intentions to make guests stay comfortable.

Noisy but well located
The pros include the location and price. The cons include bad wifi connection in the room and the room was noisy (drilling work around 10am and at night you could hear nearby room residents clearly and that disturbedy sleep)

It was great hotel for money but the front desk guy “ murat “ was not really friendly towards guest. I guess he was the actual owner or something but I really want him to get trouble. He just need little hospitals training.

The stay was good..clean and staff were very helpful.wifi is interrrupted in the rooms but good in the loby. We extedned our stay from 2 initial nights to extra 4. Spottless clean and the double glaced windows and very good blinds we had very good sleep.

Overall very good. Front desk staff very welcoming and supportive. Clean and housekeepers on top of their game. Their massage was great. The downside is that the lights in hallways are quite dim.

i liked the location, it's closed to transportation and attraction. They had an internet issue and couldn't connect to their wifi from our room. it was only available in the lobby and not all the time.

A great stay...
The hotel is located in a commercial area but tbis does not detract from the hotel's eSy access to the Metro and Tram, just minutes away. The hotel is comfortable ans spotless. The room we had was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided each day. The walk in shower was excellent...lots of hot water. The breakfast was typical of Istanbul lots of choices ...cheese, olives etc. It certainly helped set us up for the day. Just to let you know that this was our 5th stay at this hotel. We probably would stay here again if we return to Istanbul.

Terrible hotel with rude staff
My stay at Yigitalp Hotel can be summarised in one word, horrendous. We booked two standard rooms but got two different rooms (one was much smaller than the other), the morning staff were very rude and refused to change the room on the first day. The air conditioning cooling system is turned off by the hotel in the early morning hours. The elevators got stuck and were never fixed. The rooms smelled like bad perfume and the cleanliness was ok, not to mention the really small TV’s ( I’m talking smaller than a laptop’s screen). The roads leading to the hotel are closed in the daytime. I would not recommend that anyone stays at this hotel.

Although the hotel is a little hard to find, it is very nice. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were wonderful. The restaurant downstairs was exceptional.

The bathroom was very small with poor amenities. No tea making facilities, nor an iron was made available. Plus one or two items went missing from the room, so not a pleasant experience as I would have hoped.

Great Location and folks and food
Only and short walk away from train station or you can walk all way to Ayasofia. We stayed in a room with three beds which are all European sized. Can't ask for American size rooms or beds.....Very nice, clean and odorfree room... Staff was very friendly...The complementary breakfast was two thumbs up. I rated it 5 in all categories.... Highly recommended

Good location
The Hotel is good overall with convenient access to all attractions in the Old City. The main Issue I had was the smell of smoke in the room. I do not smoke. The room smelled like it was occupied by smokers or maybe the smell of some came thru the A/C vents. The rooms and furniture are old but clean. All in all it is a good value for the money.

Great Hotel for Historical Visitors
Helpfull Personel and very Clean Hotel. Location is ver good and Metro is only 100 m. far from Hotel. Good and quality Breakfast with lot's of variant. You can find what you want in 4 star Hotel.

Nice little Hammam in the hotel (not cheap, but convienient), They charged my room (1.5eur) for a call to reserve a table - first time that has happened to me in my life. but is says all about the service on the hotel and most places in Instanbul. If they can they will rip you off - so be very careful you have insist on paying market price and you have to know before or they will take your money. Especially taxis - if they see you with a suitcase they smell blood.

Breakfast was the highlight
The room was good and clean, nothing flashy, but good quality. The staff were very helpful and spoke English. The wireless connection, however, was slow, so I had to pay for the use of their computers. Breakfast was better than most American hotel cont'l breakfasts, nice intro to Turkish breakfast. The neighborhood wasn't the best, in the downtown shopping district. Not the safest to walk around later at night.

Bad Experience
The room was terrible. We will never stay at this hotel again. The room didn't feel clean and it was not like the picture on the internet at all. We found the front desk personell very rude. The window looked out on an alley full of garbage and into the building next door. I can't tell you how disapointed we were.
