The 3 star rating has nothing to do with the staff, who were all excellent. It's more to do with policy.
I chose to stay here in Turkey to recover from an operation. I wanted somewhere modern, clean, fairly quiet with a buffet breakfast and room service.
All requirements were met. The main issue was the heating. The hotel is incredibly hot. All the time. It's 26c outside and this is considered winter, so they pump out hot air all the time. The aircon can not be activated in any room during the winter. It's April here.
So I wasn't really able to sleep or rest well as I was baking continuously.
I was also moved three times within the first 12 hours as there were electrical issues in two rooms. Which meant being on a different floor from my son who was visiting Istanbul with me.
So if you like want a hotel with aircon and your not visiting in whatever the companies idea of summer is, be ready for a hot stay
