"This hotel is located right across the street from the four seasons hotel. Hotel Regina, in my opinion was better than the four seasons hotel in service, amenities and location. Our room even had a flat iron for my hair. We were greeted with cold water upon arrival and had a free cocktail in the bar after check-in. This hotel is located in the center of town. A short walk plaza del Sol or plaza mayor. Lots of great people watching available on the small streets nearby."

The rooms and gym/pool are very small not surprisingly, given the age of the building. Very easy to get around especially around the central sites of Madrid. Appropriately priced. "DWO was a wonderful base for our holiday in Madrid. We appreciated having a lovely, comfortable, clean hotel, with very well appointed rooms and a kind staff without spending a fortune. "This is an excellent property and great value. The old rooms for the communal areas have the most beautiful ceilings. I had a double room that looked out onto a leafy street with a TV and ensuite . The building is very secure and there were quite a few solo female travelers staying there. Everything is very clean. The location is excellent for shopping and seeing the main historical sights. "

Great location and amazing service !
"Really appreciated the hotel. The location was central to everything we wanted to do. The hotel staff was very friendly and professional. You were greeted upon arrival, we used the service of the concierge twice to book excursions, the breakfast buffet was AMAZING ! We appreciated the access to the roof top bar. Our room was very comfortable, great view and it was nice and quiet. Hotel security was outstanding, no one could get in without being a guest and the elevator card system was very efficient. The one minor issue that would need attention .... the bathroom towels could be more "plush". I would definitely stay at this hotel again when we come back to Madrid. "
