Having seen the big signage of V Hotel on our annual visits to HK, we decided to give a try at this hotel this year despite its close proximity to Yee Wo Street. It was a concern that the noise level from the busy street would disturb our sleep through the night.
However, we upgraded our room to Executive and found the size to be comfortable and being away from the street facing, was in fact, very peaceful sleep to enjoy the whole duration of our stay. The room was always tidy and clean by the time we came back from an exhausting day. Kudos to housekeeping for their prompt action to my complaint that the shower head and sink needed fixing.
Thank you for making our trip a wonderful one this year!
Chose this hotel as I wanted to stay somewhere different (usually stay in Kowloon). Only a one night stay as I was passing through, but wish I could have stayed at this hotel longer! It was a haven from the chaos outside, brilliant air-con too which was essential as it was about 40c degrees outside. The decor is "unique" but quite fun, although the couch isn't comfortable the bed was. Staff were super helpful and nothing was too much trouble, also upgraded me to a one bedroom suite. Free wine in the evening was a nice bonus too. Can't wait to come back.

The One Bedroom Suite we had at the Harbour Plaza North Point was great. It had more than was stated on the room details with a lounge & dining area, small and well equipped kitchen and bedroom. There is easy access from the MTR though it is a bit far from everything we were planning to do. Unfortunately the pool was closed for winter maintenance when we were there and this had not been made clear on the website or on any prior information. The pool had been a deciding factor for our children when choosing the hotel.
We stayed in 31a, which is the top floor. The elevator opens just to one room - ours. The apartment room was huge - kitchen area with good hob, microwave, pots and pans, living room area with working desk, bedroom area with an enormous king bed facing the glass wall which overlooks the harbour. The bathroom was also huge with a deep and large bath and shower above. We loved the place, which felt completely private. There was free laundry facilities in the hotel (washers and dryers), a couple of small supermarkets nearby, plenty of local restaurants, and the hotel is very close to a tram stop, making it easy to travel to central and the ferry terminals. You can even walk to central if you want to see the authentic fish market shops and interesting ceramics.
The staff are nice & helpful. The location of the hotel is rather convenient and not to far away from Wanchai MTR. Cafes and eating places are also plentiful nearby.
We were upgraded to a Deluxe room for free and we appreciate VHotel. Room was spacious and there are in-room facilities like microwave which was good for heating up our food when we are in the room. The Hotel was also thoughtful in providing plates and bowls as well as cutleries.
I will still opt to return to this hotel in future.
"Nice hotel but a little far from hobg kong station"
The hotel was very nice, the stuff helpful, it comes with free mini bar and a complimentary loot bag with skittles, m&ms and lays potato chips. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice.
The only downside is that it is in aberdeen that is far from hong kong station (about 80 hkd taxi ride from there)
