“Great Hotel”

This hotel was a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.It is in an excellent location on the harbour and just a short walk to the MTR station. Staff were extremely friendly and helpul and we were delighted to be able to check in at 8.00am. Lunch and dinner buffets were excellent if a little pricey. This hotel definitely enhanced our stay in Hong Kong and would recommend it unreservedly.

“Excellent Hotel in Great Location”

We stayed in this hotel after reading other reviews and we weren't disappointed. The room (and the view of Victoria Harbour) was superb and the staff could not have been more helpful and polite. If your budget permits upgrade to a harbour view but don't be confused by the 'city view' upgrade as this is not a view of Hong Kong island. Also, the buffet breakfast was first class and catered for all tastes and nationalities. The hotel isn't in the heart of Kowloon but it's only a 10 minute walk away and there are numerous restaurants and bars in the vicinity. We would definitely stay at this hotel next time we are in Hong Kong.

“A first rate hotel in HK”

This is a really excellent hotel in the heart of Kowloon. Service is of the highest standards in all parts and is as good as any I have experienced in any part of the world.

“LAST NIGHT IN HONG KONG X”

This is my third visit to Hong Kong and everytime, I have found something different about it. It is the first time for my husband, however, who accompanied me on my business trip. There are many havens to which you can escape the city life. Your rooftop swimming pool, The Peak, the beautiful winding roads to Stanley Market, the beaches. I have never visited the Peak before. I was absolutely terrified on the cable car ride up there, but what a view!! I also recommend that you get an Octopus card for the MTR which is completely different to our underground system. Its clean, air conditioned trains, and they don't stop in the middle of a tunnel! Taxis are cheap and you get to see the streets which is good as you can stop at will. Hong Kong is very, very clean- there is no litter or dog mess on the streets, plenty of public toilets with soap and water. This is a change you notice when back in the UK. We visited street markets in Temple Street, Stanley & Mong Kok. We went to Mong Kok first on a weekend and also in the week. The locals were more likely to want to haggle in the week when they had less customers! Haggle yes, but don't offend them by going too low on a price. Some things aren't worth haggling over and you can get a sense of how low you can go by the person who owns the stall. Be careful with your handbags too. Mong Kok also has lots of Sports & trainer shops.

“Too short a stay”

There are some works being carried outside the hotel and the view from the breakfast room is not pleasing. Staff very helpful and food choice is excellent

“Enjoyable Stay”

Our stay and the Grad Stanford was a really comfortable one, theres little to say on the negative side and I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants a comfortable, spacious big hotel experience without paying the extra £300-£400pp required for a weeks stay at the one of HK's high end hotels. Location good although you'll spend alot of time walking through the MTR stations!! Room- I'd advise taking a deluxe city view room. Much cheaper than bay view but pleaseant enough. Deluxe rooms v spacious. Overall standard good but maybe a little aged. Pool/gym on roof is great and staff in all parts of hotel knowledgable and helpful.

“good value and comfortable stay”

We had two rooms for a family of 6 including grandparents. Hotel staff members were all very friendly and helpful. They gave us 2 rooms next to each other. The rooms were clean and well kept. 10 minutes walk to the nearest station. lots of places to eat nearby. It is a good value and comfortable place to stay.
