The property was gud but the only problem i faced was that hot water wasnt available in my room even after lot of complaining it wasnt solved.

Excellent location (if you like being in middle of market). 7 mins walking to har ki pauri ghat and 10 mins to station. Hotel itself was A/C so very comfortable. Waiting area was comfortable. Rooms were spacious and bathroom was very good. Now the ugly part - no hot water...hotel provided adjoining room for taking bath and elevator was not working.

The ambience was good.The restaurant offered simple good food.It has a good vibe.However the staff had to be repeatedly told to clear our cups and glasses.I was also surprised that no toiletries were kept in the bathroom.

Good stay overall
Comfortable, value-for-money place, in a great location right in the heart of Haridwar bazaar. Food in the restaurant was good, wifi was fast, big comfortable bedroom. Overall I would recommend, but there were 2 minor negatives; 1) Bed was rock-hard, even by India hotel standards, and 2) Staff were not particularly helpful or friendly

The hotel was clean and staff was co operative. It is in the heart of the city, close to all the shops and at a walking distance to har ki pauri. The food at the restaurant was also decent with good portion size.

Nice clean hotel very near to Ganga ceremony
It is a well maintained hotel at the price. Good location, very near to har ki pauri. We like the food at the hotel restaurant, which was clean and low priced.

Good Location and Helpful staff
Though tucked away in a small alley, it was easy to find and is located at walk-able distance from Har ki Pauri, local market where you can eat famous Haridwar street food and not that far from Railway Station either.

Close to Ghat -congested rd-car cant reach after 9
Overall functional hotel-clean and safe-but no frills.car cannot reach here post 9am so we had to put luggage on rickshaw and walk to reach. But if purpose is to visit Har Ki Pauri and experience ghats this is not bad place fr overnight stay. Dont expect luxury.

Comfortable hotel but no AC Car parking is only accessible between 10pm and 9am, this was not made clear online so bringing our car in was difficult

Alpana hotel dirty but ok
I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. The hotel staff was courteous and good, and helpful. Hoeven t h e room was dirty. Water stayed in the bathroom never got dried. The WiFi was there just for mamesake.

Better options available in cheaper price nearby
Location is good. Rooms are clean. However you get better accomodations in cheaper price nearby. So no value for money. Kitchen service is terrible.Takes more than hour to deliver single meal even. Tea kettle not working in the rooms.No kids channels on TV in our room.Room key misplaced by staff member and no one accepted till last. 7 hour open kitchen in 24 hour and if you even order during working hours, order delivery takes more than 1 hour.

Compromise situation
At the time of entry at hotel, manager said how u book the room, how can be u get confirmation of booking while booking on same day. There is no vacant room how can u get. Sit at reception room we check what will happen there is no surity to accommodate u, telling lots of if and but..... Then finally he wants to settle at his hotels store room after clearing all stuffs, TV was disconnected and no wifi as per hotels.com showing, finally passed the the time nothing is enjoyable but anyhow pass the time. Simply irritating experience!!! Poor hotel amnesties...

IT was ok..
overall the hotel was ok...only one thing bad about this hotel is that car doesnt go to da hotel...u have to pay extra money to get to da hotel everytime. it cost us lot of money just gettin to da hotel.this hotel is INSIDE OF THE MARKET.Manager of this hotel is very helpful, and very nice.

Very comfortable stay
We stayed hotel Alpona for 2nights. It is in middle of market.very convenient place and clean room,nice classic elevator,nice stuff. We are going stay again on the way back to New Delhi.

Good hotel
The hotel looks nice, is clean and places very central in the city. The restaurant - looks like it is under development. Most of the staff do not speak English. We had a nice evening and night there - and they helped us with everything we needed.
