This hotel is really well located. It is in the old quarter of the city, within a short walk of Las Ramblas, is very handy to the food market and close to the underground rail station. A number of good restaurants are available close by and for a tourist keen on being located centrally it is in an ideal location. We had a superior room (419) and this was on the corner of the building and included two balconies - brilliant. The room was had a well appointed bathroom, was very clean and included double glazing a heavy drapes - meaning a quiet nights sleep. We booked this hotel for our last night in Spain and were really pleased with what we got. As an aside we stayed at the NH hotel in the old quarter of Cordoba and were very impressed with that hotel.
The staff at Gothic Suites was very efficient and helpful before we arrived as this was the first time we rented an apartment and did not know the procedure. We were met on time as the designated location to pick up our keys. The apartment was great ...roomy and clean and just steps away from !a Rambla. Another plus was free wifi and washing machine. Plenty of restaurants and shops outside our door. We would definitely stay there again and recommend this apartment complex very highly!
We are a couple and we stayed for 13 nights. We had never been to Barcelona before. It took a couple of nights to get used to the noise level of the neighborhood (especially during FC Barcelona games), but we were very glad we stayed in such a central location. We had no trouble finding the apartment and checking in. We stopped at the Tourist Office in the airport and they made the call for us - someone was waiting for us when we arrived. We took the airport bus to the Plaza de Catalonia and walked to the apartment. After checkin, we never saw the staff and never needed to. We prepared most of our meals in the kitchen with no trouble (but be aware there is no oven). We washed clothes using the combo washer/dryer, but never really got the dryer to work (but they provided a clothesline in the apartment). Overall, it was exactly what we wanted and expected.

Very comfortable apartment in a lively city centre location. The apartment was spacious and presented in a clean condition, however initial key collection could have been better organised.
The apartment is the ideal base to explore the wonderful city of Barcelona and with local shop's close by enables great self catering in the well appointed kitchen.
We stayed in Barcelona for 3 nights and had a really great experience! The owners are very friendly and will go out of their way to help with any queries you might have. The rooms are comfortable, there is a fully equipped kitchen and living room, every room is air-conditioned. There is 2 flat available and since there was 5 of us, we completely rented out the flat at the top floor! needless to say, we were extremely comfortable with a fully equipped flat just to ourselves, which includes washing machine, large terrace, living room, kitchen and two bedrooms and everything right in the middle of Barcelona, 1 minute away from Las Ramblas!
The only thing to keep in mind is that there is no elevator (yet) but it was not a problem for us.

My wife liked it --which means it was very good.
Central location close to everything you could need -good food-café and restaurants, interesting squares to sit and relax for drinks and coffee, museums and galleries, metro-3 minutes walk, the beach 10 minutes walk
We had a fantastic time in Barcelona due in part to the location of this room! We stayed in the middle of the old city and everything you need for a relaxing holiday was within walking distance! Toni was very nice and chatty on arrival though we did have to wait for her as we arrived around an hour earlier than our checkin time, however she got there very quickly after I phoned. She drew us a map of the typical tourist locations and told us lots of info about the area, and the room and where to avoid going at night which felt like she was trying to scare us sometimes - both helpful and worrying! The room was cleaned everyday and bedding and towels replaced and even pots washed!. I did expect the room to be bigger from the pictures but it was more or less square. Small bathroom but we managed to utilise it just fine. Also, just a warning, if you were expecting a balcony to sit out on like us you will be disappointed as the chairs in the room just don't quite fit - we were also advised not to use the roof terrace as this is where the cleaner hangs washing etc. so that's off limits too despite being advertised. The kitchen had all of the necessary equipment to cook a meal for two though we only really used the fridge and kettle! We grew to like to room for what it was and that's mainly just a bed for the night. It seemed very safe at all times.
