“Going back again.”
A lovely little hotel. You get what you pay for. The staff were very polite. Always helpful. Breakfast is fine. Eggs to order all prepared in front of you. Had dinner on two occasions and the food was great. Live entertainment. The bedrooms are basic but thats all you need. A clean room and a must, air conditioning. Rooms are cleaned daily together with change of bedding. The hotel is very well positioned for the North Coast and being able to get to other places of interest. Definately going back. Really loved it. A lovely holiday.
“one of the best resort”
It was a nice experience staying in Estrela Do Mar Beach Resort. one of the best part is the place where it is located. Ambience was so good to feel. Quality of food is delicious and also at cheaper rate. I thoroghly enjoyed over there..
“satisfaction”

“A great time to be had!”
This was our second visit to the Estrela Do Mar. ALL the staff were amazing with their friendliness and cheerfulnes. Many of them recognised us from our last year and were very excited to see us. Without fail, they are all friendly, polite and helpful. Many of them have very good use of the English language, and can hold very insightful and witty conversations about just about anything, especially themselves, their country and what their dreams and aspirations are. My particular highlight of each day was coming back to the room after roomservice had been to see what they had done with our towels. The imaginations of the room cleaners is amazing, with towels displayed as frogs, swans, crocodiles, and many more. The menu in the resort restaurant is varied and interesting, with many local and western dishes, (I can certainly recommend the chicken masala with garlic naan bread), and at a very reasonable price. If you become tired of the beach and swimming in the sea, the hotel offers a lovely, crystal clean swimming pool for use by the residents. It is in semi shade, depending on the time of the day, and the water is certainly cooler and more refreshing than the sea. The pool area offers its own small bar service, and their are a few tables and chairs where you can sit and eat meals if you don't feel like sitting in the main dining area. There are sun loungers which are free to residents. We will be back.
“Fun @ Goa”
Location of Hotel is gr8, you can enjoy both calenguet and baga beaches. If you stay in hut you can reach both the beaches bare footed ;-). Being strictly vegetarian, we used to eat out of the hotel as they served both veg and non-veg. every night there used to be some performance, which used to be worth watching/listening... like DJ / folk performances etc...
“Value for Money”
Excellent Location - close to the beach Service is quite slow Meals are ok Overall good value for money
“Great budget beach side hotel experience”
Quite an experience living in the beach side shacks...a little shaky but quite comfortable...quite and serene surroundings, away from the hustle bustle of Calangute town, though not too far....great deal for the price you pay right on the beach...
“Would return”
Hotel staff were great they couldnt do enough for you, rooms where a bit basic but ample and clean(we booked a executive room but dont expect 5 star )Breakfast not much choice, food at the hotel was first class especially the lobster,Staff on the beach were very helpful and catered for your need while on the hotel sunbeds, A tip try not to buy anything on the beach until you have had a look around the markets tend to be cheaper but still noe expensive
“Descent place”
It wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I was prepared for worst, but it turned out to be descent. Hotel Service and cleanliness was satisfactory. I enjoyed my stay due to its location close to beach.
“Good value for money”
The hotel is good value for money; standard rooms are bit small in size. we had executive rooms which were spacious plus clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Calangute and Baga Beaches, Goa, India: Once a famed hippie hangout, Calangute is still popular for its beautiful beach. Calangute Beach, 15 km north of Panaji, is known as the Queen of Beaches. Visitors parasail, water ski, and windsurf during the day, then head to area restaurants for tasty local and international cuisine. The bars host a wide variety of music. The Kerkar Art Complex and St. Alex Church are also highlights here. Bordered on the north by Baga Creek, Baga Beach features vibrant nightlife, water sports, and beach shacks serving diverse eats to hungry visitors. While the resorts that have sprung up along both beaches make this a fairly high-traffic area, guests can still find pockets of calm in which to relax.
