"Have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years. Rooms are good size and clean. It’s an older hotel, but still a great value. Staff is friendly and the restaurant was good. Had the Cajun pasta and it was delicious. Very nice people. "

"The hotel is very charming. And it could be a very delightful place if there was a manager who cared about it. There were multiple things that didn't work. The air conditioning didn't work, the ceiling fan didn't work, plus the window was screwed shut so there is no way to get any air into the room. Even worse, there was no water to the unit. Every once in a while a little bit would come out of the sink, but it was ice cold and it would only come on for about 10 seconds. No shower or bath...

"Room was clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub didn't look as though they were maintained regularly, so we didn't use them. Many of the rooms are non-smoking, but there is a table with an ashtray just outside where people were smoking close to the non-smoking rooms. Staff was nice and helpful. Irene was kind enough to show us inside the suite as we had asked about it and it was not booked that day. The suite looked very spacious. Overall the Edgewater Inn seemed to be a reasonable value."
