"Good vicinity Very pleasant helpful staff Accomodation very good Good bar For a 4star hotel I would expect restaurant to be open at night - don't want to eat in a bar Need to look at H&S with showers. Have epilepsy - cannot have a bath. To climb over bath side with no grab handles is not a good idea. Difficult to get the shower working at an acceptable temp. Should have a walk in shower"

"Staff were great, the hotel looked stunning and the grounds were amazing. The breakfast was delicious too. The room we had was in the attic so I kept hitting my head, the main light in the room was above the doorway which was around a corner so didn’t really help at all. There was water and hair in the bottom of the shower when we arrived as if someone had only just had a shower. There were patches of damp in the room around the window and on the ceiling."

"The location of the Hotel is excellent if you are visiting Beamish Museum. The interior of the hotel was very good, the rooms were clean & well presented, as was the bathroom nice white towels, plenty of hot water. What lets it down is the appearance outside the grass was very overgrown & we couldn’t open the window in our room(13) which made it very stuffy, apparently a previous guest had damaged the window lock, but I think it should have been put right straight away Parking was great and the staff on checking in and out were friendly & helpful Would definitely stay here again"

"Our stay was amazing, the hotel looked lovely as we drove in. The staff couldn’t be anymore helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely meal in the rib house, the service and food were excellent. The spa treatment was much needed and enjoyable. Could not speak anymore highly of Ramside Hall"
