“Excellent Hotel”

This is a very nice hotel in a very nice area. The hotel is very modern and the surroundings are great. The massive Herbert Park next door makes the location a gret place to be in Dublin.

“A very nice place to stay.”

The hotel looks very impressive as you approach it. Then at reception we were greeted with a very big smile. After that the staff could not have been more attentive. We would definitely stay again. The whole hotel was very comfortable and relaxing. Thank you all at Herbert Park!

“Lovely hotel, staff needed some training”

Arrived at 9am to be told check in was at 3pm, very unhelpful. Receptionist was having an arguement with a business man that stays there often as to why he wasn't receiving his corporate rate. She basically told him she didn't care if he came back. Great service (sarcasm here). I received some bad news while I was out there and was greeted by the receptionist with 'what's the matter with you', felt was a little rude. The hotel was lovely, really clean and great rooms. However what really let it down was the staff. If you needed help or advice, they made it seem like a huge effort to help. With the amount of money our group spent there I felt they could have at least acknowledged us. I waited 15 minutes to be served a drink at the bar when the bar was empty!! Get your staff sorted!

“Ok, but could of been so much better.”

The hotel is new and clean, however let down by it's reception staff plus a niggle we have about parking and WIFI. When asked at reception how was your stay? I said just OK? And that's how it was left, wasn't asked why? WIFI, what a pain to use, get on plus 10 euro a day! rip off, you can add parking at 10 euro day to. It's like booking a Ryan air plane with all those charges. 15 euro per taxi in and out of City. One night stay maybe if a game at Aviva, otherwise give it a miss.
